The purpose of The Integrated Studies Club is to foster an inclusive academic community for students of all majors who are pursuing one or more minors. The club provides opportunities to explore how minors can be meaningfully integrated into students’ academic work, professional development, career planning, and personal growth. 

Mission

Sam Houston State University’s Integrated Studies program aims to foster a strong sense of school pride and belonging among Integrated Studies majors and students from all disciplines pursuing one or more minors, while also promoting awareness of the university’s academic programs, student body, and campus culture. The program encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and exploration across majors and minors, providing meaningful opportunities for students to integrate their minors into their academic, professional, and personal development. Additionally, it supports student engagement, leadership, and intellectual growth by hosting meetings, events, and programs designed to enrich the overall student experience.

Membership Requirements

Anyone with at least one minor can join.
