Begin your nursing journey at Sam Houston State University, where future nurses build a strong foundation for success. Students interested in nursing may start as Health Sciences/Public Health majors (Pre-Nursing) while completing the prerequisite and Texas Core Curriculum courses required for admission into nursing programs across Texas.
