The College of Health Sciences (COHS) offers competitive research grants for both students and faculty to support projects from start to finish—whether you're writing your first abstract or submitting to a national journal. Our goal is simple: help you explore, discover, and share your work with the world.
Student and Faculty Research Grant
Ready to research, present, or publish? COHS has funding and support to help students and faculty turn ideas into impact—apply anytime!

Student Research and Travel Grant
Funding for students conducting supervised research or traveling to present it.
- Deadline: No deadline—apply anytime!
- Who Can Apply: COHS undergrad and grad students
- Use of Funds: Project costs, travel, conference registration

Faculty Research & Creative Scholarship
For COHS faculty starting or expanding a research or creative project.
- Deadline: October 1 each year
- Who Can Apply: All COHS faculty (priority given to tenure-track)
- Use of Funds: Research supplies, data collection, travel for presentations, etc.

Join other COHS faculty and grad students during virtual research work sessions. These informal check-ins are a great way to stay on track, talk through ideas, and just get the work done—together.
