Nominate A Banker
Do you know a banking professional who has made a lasting impact on the industry? Nominate a banker to spotlight their achievements to the Texas banking industry. The Texas Bankers Hall of Fame highlights each year a Texas banker who has made valuable contributions to their communities, the banking industry and the great State of Texas.
Nominations to the 2026 Texas Bankers of Fame are currently closed. Applications for the 2027 class will open following the 2026 Gala hosted on April 23, 2026.
Selection Process
The Selection Committee will review nomination packets and select individuals, living or deceased, who have made outstanding contributions to the betterment of their communities, industry, and/or state. The award is limited to people who have served as bankers. A Nominee’s accomplishments may have impacted a community or may have had a statewide impact. Civic or philanthropic accomplishments are relevant but are not a determining factor. Please help us to identify people who should be recognized for their accomplishments.
Nomination Packets
Nomination Packets should include the following:
- Nomination Form
- Biography or CV of nominee
- Letters of recommendation
- Supplemental documents are not required, yet highly encouraged to clearly demonstrate the nominee’s attributes and achievements.
