The Collegiate Horsemen's Association is open to all students regardless of major or horse experience. The Horsemen's Association is a service and fellowship organization, working to promote collegiality among equine-interested students and service to the local equine community. The club meets monthly and holds regular events including movie nights, volunteer days at local equine businesses, and industry speakers. Recently the club helped repair stalls at Birdsong Farms in Hearne, TX, earning valuable skills in facility construction as well as making contacts with potential employers. The club participates in Children’s Barnyard, an event sponsored by Block and Bridle and the Area IX CDE Horse Judging Contest.
