Sam Houston State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine celebrated a major milestone as students participated in Match Day, an unforgettable moment marking the next step in their medical journeys.
Surrounded by classmates, faculty, family, and friends, students opened their envelopes to discover where they will complete their residency training. From primary care to specialized fields, these future physicians are heading across the country to continue their education and begin serving communities in need.
Match Day represents years of dedication, resilience, and hard work; and at SHSU, it’s also a reflection of a mission-driven approach to healthcare, with a strong focus on serving rural and underserved populations across Texas and beyond.
