enhance your credentials

To teach college-level dual credit classes in the State of Texas, high school teachers must hold a graduate degree and have eighteen graduate hours (six courses) in the teaching field. This program provides those credits. These credits also grant the credentials necessary to teach English at the freshman or sophomore level at colleges in the State of Texas.

How long does it take to finish this program?

We recommend that students take no more than two classes per semester. At this pace, a student could finish in three consecutive semesters.

*Summer courses are available but are not required.
