Join a Cohort
In our supportive modified cohort model, students are admitted to a specific cohort and follow that cohort’s schedule. Take all program courses together with a small group of fellow doctoral candidates, building support and community while earning your degree. Meanwhile, electives independent of that schedule are available, creating a balance between the camaraderie of a cohort and the flexibility of independent learning structure.

In addition to relationships with cohort members, build connections with national and local organizations that support curriculum, instruction, and research. Gain experience systematically evaluating curriculum and instruction programs to be implemented in a variety of education and policy settings.
