Live Crop Library
The SHSU Live Crop Library is a hands-on, living educational resource at Sam Houston State University that showcases regionally relevant crops grown and maintained by students and faculty. Designed to support experiential learning, the Live Crop Library allows students to engage directly with plant production, sustainable agriculture practices, and real-world crop management. The site serves as a living classroom for teaching, research, and outreach, connecting academic instruction with Texas agricultural needs while preparing students for careers in agriculture, environmental science, and related industries.
