Psychological Services Center
welcome
At the Psychological Services Center (PSC), we understand that seeking help is a significant step, and we’re here to support you every step of the way. We provide therapy and assessment services to individuals and families in the Huntsville community and surrounding areas, and we’re committed to fostering a compassionate environment where everyone feels welcome.
Our services are offered by dedicated doctoral students in clinical psychology, all supervised by licensed psychologists at Sam Houston State University (SHSU). We prioritize your needs and strive to create a comfortable space for you to explore your feelings and challenges.
We believe that mental health care should be accessible to all. That’s why our services are confidential and offered at affordable rates, using a sliding scale based on family income, so you can focus on healing without the added stress of financial burden.
Our therapy options cater to children, adolescents, adults, and families, recognizing the unique experiences and emotions everyone faces. We also provide thorough psychological assessments for common conditions such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD, as well as evaluations for learning disorders. While we currently do not diagnose autism, we are actively working to enhance our services in this area to better support our community.
Additionally, we offer forensic assessments for courts and legal jurisdictions throughout East Texas. At PSC, we genuinely care about your well-being and are here to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing. Please reach out to us; we’re here to help you navigate this path.
