Join a Professional Learning Community Shaping the Future of Learning and Learning Experiences
The Neuro-Design | Learning Place Specialist [ND|LPS] Professional Learning Program is designed for professionals who believe the design of learning environments matter. Whether you are an educator, [i.e., Learning Experience Designer], education leader, architect, interior designer, facilities professional, researcher, or industry partner, ND|LPS provides an opportunity to learn alongside colleagues from multiple disciplines while developing a shared understanding of how human learning and the built environment influence one another. This program is more than a professional learning opportunity. It is a research-informed professional learning journey which will change how you think about learning, learning places, and the decisions that shape them.
THE THREE LEARNING LEVELS
Level 1 | Mind & Body
Build a foundation in neuroscience, neurodiversity, human development, and learning science. Understand how people learn before exploring how environments can best support them.
Level 2 | High-Performance Learning Learning Environments
Examine how the built environment influences cognition, cognitive load, attention, comfort, well-being, biophilic tenants, belonging, and performance. Connect evidence with real learning places through case studies and applied field experiences.
Level 3 | Operations & Stewardship
Move from design to long-term impact. Explore how leadership, operations, evaluation, and continuous improvement sustain learning environments that remain future-ready long after construction is complete.
