Certificate & Certification Program Page

Important:

  • Do not delete program pages. If you need to remove a program page, contact IMC.
    Deleting pages in the program finder inventory will break the program finder.
  • New program pages must be reported to IMC so they can be added to the program finder inventory.
    Once a program page is finalized and approved by the college, IMC digital will need to adde it to the program inventory for students to find.

Can't Find Your Degree Information?

 

If you can't find the correct values for your degree in the following dropdown fields:

  • Program Classification
  • Degree Type
  • Program Length

Please submit a problem report with the missing information.

Before you start (quick check)

  • Each certificate or certification program gets its own page.
  • Confirm the program doesn’t already exist before creating a new page.

 

copy the Template Page

  1. In academic/majors-programs, right-click template-program-page.
  2. Choose more → copy.
  3. Name the page
    1. Use lowercase with hyphens.
    2. Format: program-name + abbreviation
    3. Abbreviations:
      1. Graduate Certificate → gradcert
      2. Undergraduate Certificate → ugcert
      3. Certification → cert
    4. Examples:
      1. data-analytics-gradcert
      2. cybersecurity-ugcert
      3. principle-cert
  4. Click Copy
  5. Open the page and click Edit

 

Page Settings (top fields)

  1. Display Name
    • Enter the exact Page Name value here.
    • Examples: data-analytics-gradcert, cybersecurity-ugcert
  2. Title
    • Enter the program name followed by the full program type.
    • Examples:
      • Data Analytics, Graduate Certificate
      • Cybersecurity, Undergraduate Certificate
      • Principle, Certification
  3. SEO Description
    • Write a brief, plain-language summary of the program (1–2 sentences).
  4. Review Date
    • Pick the start of your enrollment/marketing cycle.

 

Hero Section

  1. Hero Title
    • Enter the program name only (no type).
    • Examples: Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Project Management
  2. Short Description
    • Provide a 1–2 sentence description of what the program offers.
  3. Hero Image
  • Select an approved image (use web guide standards for ratio/size).
  1. Catalog Link
  • Add the catalog link to the specific program.
  • Enter the long form of the program type in the field.
  • Examples:
    • Graduate Certificate
    • Undergraduate Certificate
    • Certification

 

Replace content 

  1. Replace the temporary content with customized content.

 

Finish with the required CTA

  1. In the final component on the page (the CTA component), replace the CTA block
  • Choose reusable block as the content source (if not already chosen).
  • Navigate to: /_blocks/rfi-ctas
  • Select the appropriate RFI CTA block for this program.

 

Save, preview, and submit

  1. Save & Preview the page to verify:
  • Page Name/Display Name/Title follow the conventions.
  • Hero title has no program type.
  • Catalog link uses the long form of the program type.
  • CTA block is present as the last component.
