Welcome to AARC

In an effort to expand our research to more fields, and become more all inclusive, the Southeast Texas Applied Forensic Science Facility (STAFS) has changed its name to the Applied Anatomical Research Center (AARC)! We are still the same facility, serving the same needs to our donors and community. If you are a current Living Donor with us, no action is needed on your part. If you have any questions, please contact us!

The Applied Anatomical Research Center is a research facility with a predominant focus on the study of applications of forensic sciences to the human body. The knowledge developed here can be used by professionals in the field to help solve criminal cases and to develop the skills of future crime scene investigators.

Each body donated to AARC is unique, and a very valuable component of our research. We could not conduct the research we do without the donations individuals and families make to our facility.
