Research Program
The initial training session was held and interviewing began on October 3rd, 2000 and was attended by forty interviewers, four supervisors and the Survey Lab Manager. All interviewers and supervisors have had previous experience working on short-term projects. Telephone interviews were completed on October 22nd, 2000.
Total sample used for this project was 2,484 with the following final

Cooperation rate (without looking at "excludes") was:
403 / (403 + 652 + 52) * 100 = 36.4 %
Taking "excludes" into the equation yielded a cooperation rate of:
(403 + 268) / (403 + 268 + 652 +52) * 100 = 48.8 %
There was only one record where the persons living in the household were not over 18 years of age and was therefor Unqualified. There were a considerable amount of Bad Numbers, for a total of 29.2 % of the sample unable to participate.
