Updated as of January 3, 2022
- Visitors are no longer required to wear face coverings on campus, whether indoors or outdoors, regardless of the size of gathering or ability to socially distance
- Unvaccinated visitors are encouraged to wear face coverings and maintain social distance for their own protection
- Buffer space will be provided at university events so individuals have the opportunity to social distance
Campus tours are available in various formats to accommodate as many of our visitors as possible. We will continue to offer a mixture of virtual and in-person options, while making adjustments based on recommendations of safe practices and staff availability. You can register for a tour through the Visitor Center website.
If you can’t visit in person, a virtual tour is a great option to get to know campus. A SAMbassador will lead the online visits and there will be a live chat available to answer all of your questions, just like they would if you were visiting in person.
In compliance with Governor Abbott’s Executive Order, face coverings are no longer required on campus, however anyone who still wishes to wear one is encouraged to do so.
