Danielle Martin has been chosen as Fall 2015 intern for the Global Center for Journalism & Democracy (GCJD). Interns play an integral role at GCJD and are involved in every aspect of center business.
Danielle is a Mass Communication major with a minor in Communication Studies. She is also a member of the National Broadcasting Society. She was part of GCJD’s Academic Community Engagement workshop last semester and was so excited about the work the center was doing that she applied to be an intern. Danielle says she learned a lot about the world locally and nationally and believes the Global Center can help her to continue to have a better understanding of important topics. Danielle plans to continue developing her skills as a journalist, and as a global citizen.
“The Global Center is making a huge impact on campus", she says “I want to use my talents to help them do even more.”
