7 Steps to Apply as an Online Graduate Student
Follow these steps to apply to a master's, doctoral, or certification online program.
Apply for Admission to SHSU
Complete an online application.
Submit the Non-refundable Application Fee
You have the option to pay the application fee through the online application. Alternatively, you may pay later by mailing a check to the Admissions Office or pay through the SHSU Self Service Center.
Submit Required Documentation and Materials
All applicants must send an official transcript from their baccalaureate degree granting institution to the Office of Graduate Admissions.
Additional application materials may be required depending on your chosen degree program.

Check Your Application Status
After you've submitted the application and other required admission materials, verify that they have been received by the Office of Graduate Admissions through the SHSU Self-Service Center.
