One thing you can't leave home without: My wallet

Why did you choose SHSU?: I wanted to be closer to my family post-military life, and took a leap of faith on Sam.

One of the ways I show Bearkat pride is by: Being honest on my tours, and giving prospective students a glimpse of what life looks like as a Bearkat.

What has surprised you most about yourself since you came to SHSU?: My ability to learn the layout and history of campus in order to effectively give tours.

What advice would you give incoming students?: The risk is worth the reward.

One fun/random fact about you: I was stationed in Hawaii while enlisted in the United States Marines.

After I graduate from SHSU, I hope to: Work my way up through the Healthcare Administration side of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
