Intercultural Library

The Intercultural Library is a resource provided by the Center for Diversity & Intercultural Affairs (CDIA) to help SHSU community - students, staff and faculty, educate themselves on diverse issues. Books ranging from African American/Black, Hispanic/Latinx/a/o, LGBTQIA*, and Middle Eastern literature are available, as well as books on disabilities, immigrant experiences, and mental health issues. It is a growing library open to students, staff and faculty. We are also open to any book suggestions!

To check out a book, please  visit the Center in LSC 315 and let a diversity Council or CDIA Staff member know which book you would like. All books can be checked out for two weeks from the day received.
