Granting Delegate Access

Outlook provides users the ability to give others permissions to receive items on their behalf and respond, called Delegates.

To set up delegates, open Outlook and select File to go to the Backstage view.

Select Account Settings dropdown menu and then Delegate Access.

The Delegates dialogue box will open. Select Add.

Add 

The Add Users dialogue box displays and a search can be performed for the person who you wish to be a delegate.

Once that person has been located, double click their name and then select OK.

Global Address List 

The Delegate Permissions dialogue permissions opens and Outlook provides options for each function of Outlook for that delegate.

 Select the permission for each function of Outlook for that delegate and select OK.
