Last month, we told you that we are upgrading the SHSU voicemail system to a new system called Unity Voicemail. This change will happen on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
Just in case you missed it, here is why:
SHSU’s current voicemail system will not work when we transition SHSU’s email system, Microsoft Exchange, to the cloud.
What does this mean for you?
Not much! You will still be able to receive voicemails in your Outlook inbox, reply to voicemails via email and receive voicemail transcriptions. Additionally, this upgrade provides you with multiple ways to access your voicemails such as in Outlook.
Do I need to do anything before the upgrade?
While voicemail loss in Outlook is not expected, we recommend listening to your voicemails and confirming you have saved or recorded the necessary details from your messages prior to this upgrade.
