While serving as the Interim Vice President for Information Technology over the last month, I have had the pleasure of meeting with many people across campus along with the IT@Sam team.
These meetings led me to one important conclusion, you are our top priority. As we collaborated to determine the best ways to effectively support you, we came to the following solutions:
- Operate with increased urgency to quickly resolve any technology issues
- Increase proactivity in adopting technology, software and services to better support campus
- Create simplicity for campus partners for all things technology
Please remember that effective change takes time. Some enhancements will occur immediately, such as communication, and others will take longer to implement, such as the modernization and innovation of our campus technology and IT processes. I ask that you give us that time to work as a team internally and partner with you externally to bring the best technology experience to campus.
