Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe CC) brings together all the latest versions of Adobe professional software applications such as Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat DC, Lightroom, and Illustrator, among others. Recently, the licensing for this software has changed.
Due to the licensing change, on Friday, February 2, 2018, Adobe CC software is scheduled for removal from all faculty, staff, and student employee office computers. The software will remain installed in all computer labs and classrooms.
If you need Adobe CC software, you will still have access through a new interface called the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Application. After Friday, February 2, follow the guides we have created for PC and Mac computers to reinstall your required Adobe CC software.
If your department has student employees that require access to Adobe CC software for their job-related tasks, please contact the Service Desk with the node name of their computer and we will get the software, with appropriate licensing, reinstalled for them.
If you need access to Adobe CC software on personal* or non-managed** computers, you will need to follow a slightly different set of instructions.

*Personal Computer: A laptop or desktop computer not owned by SHSU.
**Non-Managed Computer: A laptop or desktop computer, owned by SHSU, that is not part of the main SHSU network. The laptop or desktop computer does not receive automatic software updates.
