Due to required maintenance to install a new high-performance next generation firewall, a SHSU network outage will occur from Saturday, January 2, 2021 at NOON until Sunday, January 3 at 6 a.m. We chose this timeframe to minimize the impact to campus operations, so all you need to do is rest and get ready for the start of Spring 2021!
During this time, ALL SHSU technology, on and off campus, will be unavailable. This includes all SHSU computers, phones, software and services (e.g., SHSU website, email, MySam, Zoom, Office 365, etc.).
You will NOT be able to work during this 18-hour timeframe, so please plan accordingly.
NOTE: If you are on-campus during this time, use your cell phone to contact 9-1-1 in the event of an emergency.
