Computer Replacement Program

The SHSU Computer Replacement Program (CRP) provides quality, cost-effective technology asset replacements to SHSU faculty, staff, labs and classrooms every four years. The purpose of the program is to fully utilize equipment on the SHSU campus, and to effectively apply University funds. The Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) team plans, and coordinates the replacement cycle, with the goals of maintaining fiscal responsibility, and minimizing interruptions of service to Faculty, Staff and Students. CRP funded replacements also allow departments to fully utilize their budget funds for non-technology initiatives, supporting the purpose and spirit of the CRP program. Suitable replaced assets are re-deployed for use as student worker workstations, research workstations, and kiosks.
