We are pleased to provide a virtual community for SHSU graduate students, especially our online and distance learners. The community allows you to interact with the Graduate School staff, peer groups, and other campus personnel. You can also find news, updates, and event information. To access the community, log into Blackboard and locate the Thesis, Dissertation, & Support Resources page under the Courses tab and the My Organizations section.
The Graduate School is here for you after hectic workdays and on the weekends. We are fully committed to your overall success and strive to help you meet various academic, professional, and career-focused goals. KATCH Sessions are accountability and goal-setting meetings where scholars support each other and get work done together. Whether you are studying for an exam, working on a course paper, or editing your thesis, dissertation, or capstone project, we encourage you to immerse yourself in productivity. Sessions are open to all SHSU graduate students, regardless of program or completion track.
You are not required to be present for the entire duration of the session – a brief pop-in can do the trick!
