Client Services

Client Services provides technology support, economical solutions, and relevant communications through collaboration with our constituents.                   

Service Desk: Our Service Desk provides the first point of contact for all technology-related requests or issues for the University. We provide first-level troubleshooting and escalate to the appropriate areas within IT@Sam as needed.

Asset Management: Technology Asset Management provides equipment and software for the university.

Tech Shop: The Tech Shop specializes in on-site repair and installation of all campus-managed computer hardware and software.

Training and Communications: We provide training to SHSU faculty and staff on basic computer software and IT systems in order to support everyday business and/or classroom use. Our Communications Specialist oversees employee communications through Social Media and the IT@Sam Newsletter.

Web Services: Web Services provides support and maintenance relating to our University website system, Digital Signage, and updates the MySam Portal. Mass Mail services are also provided by the team for campus communication.

CS Leadership: The Client Services leadership team provides support to enterprise and infrastructure resources. The leadership team works to ensure that the appropriate resources are correctly assigned to system support and project tasks.
