NOTE: Information on the 2017 Guaranteed Price Plan (GPP) tuition and fees is still available for students who opted for the Guaranteed Price Plan in Spring 2017 (and thus are continuing on that plan).
The above Undergraduate Traditional Price Plan schedule is predicated on tuition rates based on $50 per credit hour and designated tuition of $184 per credit hour.
The above Undergraduate Non-Resident schedule is predicated on tuition rates based on $465 per credit hour and designated tuition of $184 per credit hour.
However, tuition rates may be revised by the Legislature at any time. All tuition and fees are correct as of the date of print but are subject to change by action of the State Legislature or by the Board of Regents of The Texas State University System.
Out-of-state tuition is calculated each year by the Coordinating Board.
Anybody taking Sam Houston State University classes at The Woodlands Center will pay an additional fee of $75 per credit hour taken there. In addition, anyone enrolled in courses at a MITC (Multi-institutional teaching center) will pay an additional $75 per semester hour.
