Andrew W. Mellon Fellowships

For graduate study in the humanities. Eighty one-year, merit fellowships of $14,500 plus tuition and fees are awarded. Candidates must:

be a college senior or recent graduate
be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
submit the results of the Graduate Record Examinations, General Test
be entering a graduate program leading to a Ph.D. in a Humanistic Field: American Studies, Art History, Classics, Comparative Literature, Cultural Anthropology, English Literature, Foreign Language and Literature, History, History and Philosophy of Science, Musicology, Philosophy, Political Philosophy, Religious Studies.
