Dr. Crystal Clark Douglas is a registered dietitian and a graduate of The University of Alabama at Birmingham (M.S. in Clinical Nutrition and a Ph.D. in Nutrition Sciences). She completed her undergraduate degree at Louisiana Tech University (B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics), where she played Division I NCAA tennis. Following the completion of postdoctoral fellowships, Dr. Douglas gained professional experience working as a research dietitian, consultant dietitian in oncology and long term care, an academic writer, and an instructor and laboratory manager at Florida State University. She is the co-author of multiple peer reviewed journal publications and her research interests include polycystic ovary syndrome, maternal and child nutrition, obesity, and cancer. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, running, gardening, and spending time with family.
