About Bearkat Lacrosse

The Team was started in 2002 by a group of spirited young women with love for the game!

Womens Lacrosse is a non-contact sport. There are currently 14 teams in the Texas Womens Lacrosse League.
We play against other Colleges and Universities which means that we do some traveling.

Dues are $80 per school year, this fee includes your uniform, bag, and goggles.
The dues, along with our budget, help to cover costs of tournament fees, refs, and lodging when we travel.

Want to Join the Team!?

No experience is necessary to join the team. All we ask for is dedication and determination to play.
We spend the fall semester practicing and teaching everything you need to know.
Our regular season runs during the spring semester.

You must buy your lacrosse stick and it must be within regulation standards.
They typically range from about $25 up to over $100. You also supply your mouth guard, which must be colored.
Cleats are optional but HIGHLY recommended(no metal spikes).
Any other equipment you wish to get, outside of the stick and mouth guard, is optional.
