The Visitor Center Staff and Bearkat Student Ambassadors are the “Welcoming Committee” for visitors and prospective students. Our staff is knowledgeable and provides good customer-service while reflecting an enthusiastic “Bearkat Spirit” at all times.

The Visitor Center offers campus maps, SHSU information packets, Huntsville information, city maps, directions, and responds to a host of questions about SHSU and Huntsville. In essence, we provide a widely-encompassing “information center” for the campus and the Huntsville area.
