Visitor Center: Campus Tours  

 Schedule a campus tour with the Visitor Center by submitting the online form, calling 936.294.1844 or email visitsam@shsu.edu  

Choose the visit that works best for you. We offer:

Guided Campus Tours - Walking guided tours of the central campus are provided to individuals, their friends, and families by our spirited and friendly “SAMbassadors.”

Group Visits - We welcome large groups of prospective students to visit campus.

Saturdays@SAM – a special fun filled Saturday with SHSU

Virtual Campus Tour – Can’t make it to campus.  Don’t worry we have some videos that will give you an idea of what SHSU has to offer.

Groups Welcome!

We welcome large groups of prospective students to visit campus as well.  For groups of 75 students or more the Visitor Center offers a campus tour by bus (utilizing your buses), and a DVD presentation with a question/answer session.  If you and your students are interested in visiting any other areas on campus, we will be happy to contact the departments and make those arrangements.
