Welcome to Huntsville, Texas home of Sam Houston State University!

Huntsville, Texas has many attractions to offer visitors. While you’re in Huntsville be sure to stop and grab a bite to eat at one of our many restaurants. You will find locally owned restaurants as well as chain restaurants.

Visitors can also do some shopping in Huntsville’s historic downtown area. Huntsville also has recreational areas for our outdoor loving visitors. Last but not least, visitors are able to learn more about General Sam Houston by visiting the Statue Visitor Center or the Memorial Museum.
