Best time at SHSU: Losing my voice after attending every Bearkat basketball or football game |
Favorite Tradition: The Ring Ceremony. It made me even more excited to graduate. While at the same time, it saddened me as I realized that I am about to leave such a great campus. |
Favorite class taken at SHSU: Non-major class = History of Rock and Roll Class in my major = Communication Research Methods |
One thing you can’t leave home without: CHAPSTICK! |
What has surprised you the most about yourself since your arrival at SHSU? That I can juggle two jobs, classes with homework and still have time to have a good time. I owe it all to my planner…..If it’s not penciled in, it doesn’t happen. |
Where else did you apply for college? Southwestern University, Baylor University and Temple College |
What made you choose SHSU over the others? SHSU is close enough to home, but far enough to get away. The campus is the perfect size, not too big and not too small. Plus, not one other person from my graduating class applied to SAM; so there was a guarantee that I would be forced out of my comfort zone to get involved and meet new people. |
Advice for incoming students: Meet new people, Don’t go home too often, Use a planner for homework due dates and Go to different campus events to get FREE stuff. |
