The library, any other place & I'll get too distracted.

Best time at SHSU:

Being voted captain of the lacrosse team my freshmen year and every year after that.

Favorite Tradition:

Our annual lacrosse alumni game during homecoming week. All the old guys come play the new guys in a game, then we head to tailgate for food and football.

Favorite class taken at SHSU:

 Organized crime with Dr.Roth in the criminal justice building. We learned about gangs and notorious gangsters.

One thing you can’t leave home without:

I cannot go anywhere without my class ring. It means so much to me, if i dont wear it i feel incomplete.

What has surprised you the most about yourself since your arrival at SHSU?

I have become more open to others ideas and cultures.

Where else did you apply for college?

Sam Houston was the one and only.

What made you choose SHSU over the others?

We have the greatest lacrosse team!

Advice for incoming students:

Manage your time well and do not let your studies fall behind. I have seen too many people fail classes and have to leave Sam Houston due to their grades.
