Love being around livestock, the outdoors, hunting, camping, hiking, and swimming. Going to the lake, beach or river and I enjoy playing sports like volleyball, softball, football, and golf.

SO MANY!! Going to Lubbock and Arlington with my class over the summer was a BLAST.

Rubbing the hat before test.

Either Agricultural Science, Teacher Program or Floral Design.

One thing you can't leave home without:

I always need my pony tail.

What has surprised you the most about yourself since your arrival at SHSU?

I learned to grow up and manage my money better, Mommy and Daddy are not here to hold my hand.

Where else did you apply for college?

SHSU was my only choice.  I transferred from Blinn in Brenham.

What made you choose SHSU over the others?

Its a family thing; both parents went to Sam. I love the small homey feeling, plus the lake is also 30 minutes away.

Advice for incoming students:

Don’t let school control your college life. HAVE FUN, its time to grow up, learn new things and make new friends.
