Welcome, the Visitor Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Campus tours are at designated times throughout the day and visitors are strongly encouraged to call our office at 936.294.1844 or email visitsam@shsu.edu to make an appointment for a campus tour. If you have already visited SHSU, please feel free to complete our Visitor Center Satisfaction Survey.

We are also open on November 21, 2009 and March 27, 2010 for our campus preview day, Saturdays@SAM. Individuals can register online for Saturdays@SAM and groups can register by emailing visitsam@shsu.edu or calling 936.294.3792.

If you are a student at SHSU and interested in being a volunteer tour guide, please complete the volunteer tour guide application and drop it off in person to Shirley Miller at the Visitor Center between 8AM-12PM or 2PM-5PM.
