Purpose. Monitor the overall TASP process at SHSU, review state legislative
mandates, Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Guidelines, university
TASP policies and procedures, recommend new TASP policies and/or procedures
as required to ensure the effective continuation of the program and full compliance
of the law. The committee will submit recommendations for review and action
to the Council of Academic Deans and the Academic Policy Council.
Appointments. The President makes all appointments; members are jointly
recommended by the chair of the committee and the Associate Vice President
for Academic Affairs. Registrar serves as the chair of the committee; indefinite
terms.
