IT Project Council

Purpose. The University is creating a IT Project Council to provide a forum for various constituencies on the campus to have input into the acquisition, development, or enhancements of projects having an IT component. All entities on cmapus shall present their IT projects to this committee for discussion.

The Council will meet to discuss projects to determine the impact projects have in meeting the overall University Strategic Plan, how the project impacts various departments or divisions of the campus, and to recommend the alignment of resources to best prioritize IT projects.

The Council may form subcommittees to develop detailed information regarding a proposed project and how it impacts resources or various campus entities.

Appointments. Appointments to the IT Planning Council are made by the President. The IT Project Council is a standing committee comprised of campus vice presidents appointed for indefinite terms.
