Purpose
- Assist in the development of the "Information Resource Strategic Plan and Biennial Operating Plan."
- Make an annual review of funding levels used to support the Information Resource Strategic Plan.
- Evaluate annually the current policies for the allocation and use of information resources.
- Recommend procedures and standards to insure effective and efficient use of technology for all University components.
- Establish guidelines or policies for technology deployment for consistency with SHSU Information Resource Strategic Plan.
Appointments. The committee will consist of ten individuals, including the co-chairs. The members serve indefinite terms. The Provost, Vice Presidents, Faculty Senate, Staff Council and Student Government Association will have 1 representative each to serve on this committee. The President makes all appointments, including the chair/co-chairs who serves an indefinite term.
