Purpose. Recommends to the Academic Policy
Council procedures and policies on credit by examination, including
transfer hours based on credit by examination or on agreements articulated
with high schools. Hears student appeals concerning such credit
and forwards recommendations to the Provost and Vice President for
Academic Affairs.
Appointments. The President makes all appointments from the University Faculty Senate nominations; chair is nominated by the Director of Undergraduate Admissions from committee members; three-year terms expiring at the end of the fiscal year.
