 College Representative for Individual
    Student's Graduate Committee

1. APPOINTMENT OF COLLEGE REPRESENTATIVE

 1.01 Each academic dean shall appoint a member of the University Graduate Faculty to serve as a non-voting representative of the dean for each thesis, dissertation, or oral examination committee within the respective college.

 1.02 The college representative should be assigned when a graduate student submits his/her final copy of his/her thesis or dissertation to the respective committee chair, or, when a date and time for an oral examination is announced.
 

2. SELECTION OF COLLEGE REPRESENTATIVE

 2.01 The college representative may be selected from a related academic discipline within the college or may be requested to serve from another college.
 

3. FINAL REPORT

 3.01 Each college representative will submit a written report to the appointing dean providing an assessment of the thesis, dissertation, or oral examination committee's procedures and actions.

 3.02 The desired format for the written report will be provided to the college representative by the appointing dean.
