My research, publications, and teaching focus on the investigation of the utilization of free and off-the-shelf hardware and software towards the development of multimedia and digital library applications in distance learning and web-based broadcasting. I have been awarded two technology grants totaling more than $650,000.00 toward educating university faculty in thinking about and using technology and technology applications as well as creating multimedia course content. I am a part-time musician, audio engineer and sound designer, photographer, and videographer.
