Suspect Wanted

A female student reported that on September 10, 2003 at approximately 8:51 PM, while she was walking adjacent to Johnson Coliseum, a male subject grasped her and forced her to an area between the Coliseum and the Teachers Education Center. The subject then ordered her to lie down. During this time, the victim heard voices and he moved away. A few minutes later, the victim decided to flee. At this time, she believed she once again observed the subject and she began to scream. The suspect then fled south. The victim subsequently contacted the University Police and a campus wide search was conducted for the suspect. Subsequent investigation determined that three female students observed the suspect running from the area. They described him as an African/American male, 6'1-6'5" in height, light skinned, slender to medium build, between 30 to 40 years of age. He was wearing a blue shirt with light colored or grey colored shorts with a blue stripe down the side of the legs. Below is a composite sketch based on eyewitness accounts.
