While conducting a traffic stop in the 600 block of Palm Street, officer determined that the 20 year-old male driver was operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.  The driver of the vehicle was arrested, transported to the Walker County Jail, and booked for the offenses of “Driving While Intoxicated”, “Failure to Identify”, and “Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon”. 

Officer was dispatched to the Raven Village parking lot where he met with the student female complainant.  At this time the complainant reported that her vehicle was “keyed”.

Officer was dispatched to the HKC in reference to a “Theft” report.  Officer met with the student complainant who reported that his backpack was stolen from a basketball court.

August 31, 2008

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined that the driver was operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.  The driver was arrested and charged with the offense of “Driving While License Suspended”.   In addition, it was determined that both passengers of the vehicle were intoxicated.  Subsequently, one passenger was arrested for the offenses of “Public Intoxication” & “Interference with the Duties of a Public Servant”, and the second passenger was also arrested for “Public Intoxication.” 

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Sam Houston Avenue, Officer determined that the driver, a 19 year-old male, was intoxicated.  Subsequently, the driver was arrested and charged with the offense of “DUI – Minor”. 

While assisting the Huntsville Police Department, an officer checked the welfare of a 39 year-old male.  At this time the officer determined that the male was highly intoxicated.  The male subject was then arrested and charged with the offense of “Public Intoxication.”

While conducting a traffic stop near the intersection of Bearkat Blvd. and Sycamore Avenue, officer determined that the driver was in possession of alcohol.  The driver was then issued a citation for the offense of “Minor in Possession of Alcohol”. 

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined that the driver was intoxicated.  The driver was arrested and charged for the offense of “Driving While Intoxicated”.

Officer was dispatched to the Huntsville Memorial Hospital in reference to a reported sexual assault report.  At this a female reported that she was sexually assaulted by a known acquaintance in residence which is located on campus.  At this time an investigation is being conducted by the department’s investigator.

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Marks Drive, officer determined that the passenger in the vehicle was wanted on an outstanding warrant of arrest.  Prior to the finding, the passenger provided the officer with false identifying information.  Subsequently, the passenger was arrested for the outstanding warrant and was also charged with the offense of “Failure to Identify:  Fugitive from Justice.”

While conducting a traffic stop in the2200 block of B.K.Marks Drive, officer determined the male driver provided false identification upon request.  The driver, a 20-year-old student, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of "Failure to Identify".

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1200 block of 16th Street, officer determined the female driver provided false identification upon request.  The driver, a 17-year-old student, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of "Failure to Identify".

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1100 block of University Avenue, officer determined that the male driver was under the influence of alcohol.  The driver, a 22-year-old Huntsville resident, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of "Driving While Intoxicated".

While patrolling though Jackson/Shaver Lot II, officer observed a male subject in possession of an alcoholic beverage. Upon investigation, officer determined the subject was 18 years old. The subject, a student, was subsequently cited for the offense of "Minor in Possession/Alcohol".

Officer was dispatched to the Belvin/Buchanan Lot in reference to a minor motor vehicle accident.  Upon investigation, officer determined the driver responsible for the accident was under the influence of alcohol.  The driver, a 19-year-old student, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Public Intoxication”.

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined the male driver was under the influence of alcohol.  The driver, a 20-year-old student, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Driving While Intoxicated”.

Officer was dispatched to the construction site of Academic Building V in reference to a trespass violation.  Upon investigation, a 20-year-old male student was found inside the construction site.  The student was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Criminal Trespass”.

A resident of Mesquite, Texas reported that her vehicle was burglarized while it was parked in White Hall Lot #2.

While driving in the 2700 block of Old Houston Road, officer observed a male subject stumblineg and staggering in the middle of the street.  Upon investigation, officer determined the subject was highly intoxicated.  The subject, a 27-year-old Huntsville resident, was taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of "Public Intoxication".

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Smither Drive, officer determined that the female driver was under the influence of alcohol.  The driver, a 21-year-old student, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of "Driving While Intoxicated".

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2600 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined that the male driver was under the influence of alcohol.  The driver, a 21-year-old student, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of "Driving While Intoxicated".

While driving in the 2900 block of 11th Street, officer observed a confrontation involving three male individuals.  Upon investigation, officer determined all three subjects were intoxicated.  The three individuals were subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and were each booked for the offense of "Public Intoxication".

While patrolling in the 1600 block of Bobby K. Marks Drive, officer observed a male subject loitering in an adjacent parking lot.  Upon investigation, officer determined the subject was in possession of a drug related item.  The subject, a 23-year-old resident of Dallas, Georgia, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Possession of Drug Paraphernalia”.

Officer observed two male subjects skateboarding in the Four West Lot and upon contact, officer determined they had been previously issued criminal trespass warnings for all university property.  These subjects, both Huntsville residents, were subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and were each booked for the offense of “Criminal Trespass”.

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined that the male driver was under the influence of alcohol.  The driver, a 25-year-old resident of Livingston, Texas, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Driving While Intoxicated”.

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1300 block of 11th Street, officer determined that the male driver was under the influence of a controlled substance.  Subsequent to the driver’s arrest, officer located and seized a quantity of PCP.  The driver, a 23-year-old Huntsville resident, was transported to the Walker County Jail where he was booked for the offenses of “Driving While Intoxicated” and “Possession of a Controlled Substance”.

Officer was dispatched to a residence at White Hall in reference to a welfare concern.  Upon investigation, officer determined that a male resident was in possession of marijuana and a drug related article.  The resident, a 22-year-old student, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offenses of “Possession of Marijuana” and “Possession of Drug Paraphernalia”.

Officers received a report of a suspicious male who was walking through campus.  Officers located the subject in the 1300 block of University Avenue and upon investigation a usable quantity of cocaine was found on this subject.  The subject, a 51-year-old Huntsville resident, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Possession of Controlled Substance”.

While patrolling in the area of the Walker Education Center, officer observed a male subject lying on the ground.  Upon investigation, officer determined this subject was extremely intoxicated.  The subject, a 24-year-old resident of Willis, Texas, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Public Intoxication”.

July 17, 2008

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Montgomery Road, officer learned that the male driver had two outstanding arrest warrants from the City of Huntsville Municipal Court.  Subsequent to the driver’s arrest, officer confiscated a two drug related items from the vehicle.  The driver, a 19-year-old resident of Magnolia, Texas, was transported to the Walker County Jail where he was booked on the two outstanding arrest warrants and the offense of “Possession of Drug Paraphernalia”.

A TDCJ cadet reported that her vehicle was burglarized while it was parked in the 1500 block of Avenue I.

While conducting an investigation at a residence at Bearkat Village, five individuals were taken into custody and charged with a variety of drug related offenses.  The individuals consisted of a 19-year-old male student, a 19-year-old female student, two 18-year-old male residents of Humble, Texas, and a 19-year-old male resident of Humble, Texas.  The drug related charges consisted of the offenses of “Possession of a Controlled Substance” and “Possession of Marijuana”.  All five individuals were booked into the Walker County Jail.

Two students reported that their vehicles were burglarized while they were parked in the Raven Village Lot.

Officer was dispatched to the Stadium Lot in reference to a burglarized vehicle.  Upon investigation, officer determined that a construction worker at the Academic Building V construction site was responsible for this burglary.  The construction worker, a 23-year-old male resident of Conroe, Texas, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Burglary of a Vehicle”.

June 30, 2008

Officer was dispatched to White Hall Lot #3 in reference to a report of criminal mischief.  Upon arrival and investigation, officer determined that a vehicle had been driven down an adjacent sidewalk which resulted in damage to a parking sign and a handrail.  A search of the surrounding area was conducted and the suspect vehicle was located in a private parking lot located in the 2300 block of Avenue I.  A short time later, the driver of the suspect vehicle was located and identified.  Upon interviewing the suspect, officer determined he was under the influence of alcohol.  The driver, a 26-year-old Huntsville resident, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offenses of “Criminal Mischief” and “Public Intoxication”.

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined that the juvenile driver gave a false name when initially contacted.  Furthermore, the driver did have a valid driver’s license and he did not have permission from the vehicle’s owner to operate the vehicle.  The driver, a 15-year-old Huntsville resident, was subsequently released to his grandfather upon the authorization of a representative of Walker County Juvenile Services.

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined that the male driver was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.  The driver, a 23-year-old student, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Driving While License Suspended”.

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined that the male driver did not have a driver’s license or liability insurance.  The driver, an 18-year-old resident of Willis, Texas, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the traffic offenses of “No Driver’s License” and “No Liability Insurance”.

Marks Drive, officer observed four suspicious subjects walking through an adjacent parking lot.  Upon investigation, two of the individuals gave false identifying information to the officer.  One of the two subjects, a 21-year-old resident of Trinity, Texas, was taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Failure to Identify”.  The second subject, a 16-year-old Huntsville resident, was released to his mother upon the authorization of a representative of the Walker County Juvenile Probation Department.

Officers were dispatched to 2209 Bobby K. Marks Drive to assist the Huntsville Police Department with a disturbance.  While assisting, two male subjects attempted to flee the scene and were subsequently apprehended.  Both subjects, a 22-year-old Huntsville resident, and a 19-year-old student, were taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and were each booked for the offense of “Evading Arrest/Detention”.

Officer was dispatched to White Hall in reference to two suspicious individuals.  Upon arrival and investigation, officer determined that one of the individuals was in possession of drug related items.  This subject, a 24-year-old resident of Slidell, La., was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Possession of Drug Paraphernalia”.  The second individual, a 27-year-old Huntsville resident, was issued a criminal trespass warning and was escorted from campus.

A resident of King Hall reported that several video games were stolen from his residence.

At 11:14 PM, a 19-year-old female resident of Huntsville reported she was confronted by two black males and one Hispanic male while walking in the southeastern area of Intramural Field #2.  Shortly thereafter, the female reported she was sexually assaulted by the Hispanic male.  The female described her assailants as follows:  A black male, approximately 6'2", wearing a white shirt with the words, "Fuck You", red Dickie shorts and a red bandana or "Dorag"; A black male, approximately 5'7", wearing a black shirt, black hat, and white pants; and A Hispanic male that was approximately 5'7".  Anyone with information concerning this incident should contact the University Police Department or Crime Stoppers.

While patrolling in the 1200 block of 17th Street, officer observed a group loitering in Jackson/Shaver Lot #2.  Upon investigation, officer determined that one of the subjects was highly intoxicated.  Furthermore, officer determined that another subject was in possession of alcoholic beverages.  The intoxicated subject, a 19-year-old student, was taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Public Intoxication”.  The subject with the alcoholic beverages, a 19-year-old student, was cited for the offense of “Minor in Possession/Alcohol” and released at the scene.

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2500 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined that the male driver was in possession of marijuana.  The driver, a 22-year-old student, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Possession of Marijuana”.

A student reported that on April 29th, while walking in front of the Lowman Student Center, two male subjects approached him, brandished a handgun, and stole his backpack.

While patrolling in the 2000 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer observed a male subject staggering through an adjacent parking lot.  Upon investigation, officer determined the subject was intoxicated.  The subject, a 20-year-old student, was taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Public Intoxication”.

While patrolling in the Sam Houston Village parking garage, officer observed a male subject asleep in a vehicle.  Upon investigation, officer determined that the subject was intoxicated, was in possession of alcoholic beverages, and was also in possession of drug related items.  This subject, a 19-year-old student, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Public Intoxication”, Minor in Possession/Alcohol”, and “Possession of Drug Paraphernalia”.

Officers were dispatched to the Academic Building V construction site in reference to trespassing.  Upon investigation, officers located two male students inside the construction site area.  Both students were subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and were booked for the offense of “Criminal Trespass”.

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Lake Road, officer determined that the female driver was under the influence of alcohol.  The driver, an 18-year-old student, was subsequently cited for the offense of “Driving Under the Influence/Alcohol-Minor” and she was released to a sober individual.

April 17, 2008

Officers were dispatched to the Farrington Pit in reference to a “shots fired” call.  Upon arrival and investigation, officers determined that a group had gathered at the pit and a fight broke out.  During this disturbance, it was reported that an unknown subject fired two shots into the air.  A search of the campus was conducted and upon its conclusion it was determined that no injuries had occurred.  Investigation to continue.

While patrolling in the 2000 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer observed a male pedestrian staggering through an adjacent parking lot.  Upon investigation, officer determined the pedestrian was highly intoxicated.  This subject, a 19-year-old student, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Public Intoxication”.

April 16, 2008

While conducting a traffic stop in the 500 block of Bowers Blvd., officer determined that the female driver was under the influence of alcohol.  Officer also determined that a male passenger was in possession of an open container of alcohol.  The driver, a 20-year-old student, was cited for the offense of “Driving Under the Influence/Alcohol-Minor” and the passenger, a 25-year-old student, was cited for the offense of “Open Container/Alcohol in Motor Vehicle”.  Both individuals were released to a sober individual.

A professor reported that his faculty/staff hangtag was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked on campus.  During an investigation, the stolen hangtag was found displayed on a student’s vehicle.  The hangtag was seized from the vehicle and confiscated as evidence.  This case will be forwarded to the Walker County Criminal District Attorney’s office for the filing of a formal criminal complaint. On April 3rd, a formal criminal complaint was filed and a warrant was issued for the arrest of a 20-year-old student for the Class B Misdemeanor Offense of "Theft of Services". On April 7th, the warrant was executed and the student was booked into the Walker County Jail.

Officers were dispatched to the Academic Building V construction site in reference to a trespassing report.  Upon arrival and investigation, officers located two male subjects on the second floor of the complex.  Both subjects were escorted from the complex and identified as a 16-year-old Huntsville resident and a 17-year-old Huntsville resident.  The 17-year-old was subsequently transported to the Walker County Jail and was booked for the offense of “Criminal Trespass”.  The 16-year-old was released to his parents.

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Montgomery Road, officer learned that the female driver was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant.  Subsequent to her arrest, officer determined the female driver and two male juvenile passengers of the vehicle were in possession of a usable amount of marijuana.  The driver, a 19-year-old Huntsville resident, was taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked on the outstanding arrest warrant and the offense of "Possession of Marijuana".  The two male passengers, both Huntsville residents, were transported to the Juvenile Detention Facility in Anderson County.

Officer was dispatched to the Aberdeen Apartments to assist the Huntsville Police Department with a disturbance.  While assisting the Huntsville Police Department with their investigation, a 20-year-old male student was taken into custody for the offense of “Disorderly Conduct” and he was booked into the Walker County Jail.

A student reported that his vehicle was burglarized while it was parked in Jackson/Shaver Lot #1.

Officers were dispatched to Jackson/Shaver Lot #2 in reference to suspicious activity.  Upon investigation, officers found two subjects sitting inside a parked vehicle and the odor of burnt marijuana from emanating from within this vehicle.  The driver of the vehicle, an 18-year-old female student, was determined to be under the influence; and, the passenger of the vehicle, a 23-year-old male Huntsville resident, was found to be in possession of marijuana and three different controlled substances.  The female student was taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Public Intoxication”.  The male subject was taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offenses of “Possession of Marijuana”, “Possession of Dangerous Drug”, and two counts of “Possession of a Controlled Substance”.

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined that the male driver, a 20-year-old resident of Crockett, Texas, was in possession of an alcoholic beverage.  Furthermore, officer determined that the male passenger, a 25-year-old resident of Crockett, Texas, was in possession of several open alcoholic beverage containers.  The driver was subsequently cited for the offense of “Minor in Possession/Alcohol” and the passenger was cited for the offense of “Open Alcohol Container”.

Officer was dispatched to Jackson/Shaver Lot #2 in reference to an intoxicated subject.  Upon arrival, officer observed a male subject stumbling through the parking lot.  This subject, a 19-year-old student, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Public Intoxication”.

Officers were dispatched to the University Hotel Lot in reference to a burglarized vehicle.  Upon arrival and investigation, officers determined that someone attempted to gain entry into a parked vehicle by breaking the driver’s side window.

While patrolling in the 2400 block of Montgomery Road, officer observed a female subject lying in the roadway and she was accompanied by another female subject and a male subject.  Upon contact, officer determined that all three subjects were students and they were intoxicated.  All three individuals were subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and were each booked for the offense of “Public Intoxication”.

Officer was dispatched to 1200 block of 16th Street in reference to a suspicious person call.  Upon arrival and investigation, officer determined that an 18-year-old student was in possession of an alcoholic beverage.  The student was subsequently cited for the offense of “Minor in Possession/Alcohol”.

While patrolling in the 1900 block of B.K. Marks Drive, officer observed a male subject stumbling and staggering in an adjacent parking lot.  Upon investigation, officer determined that the subject was under the influence of alcohol.  The subject, a 26-year-old student, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker Count Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Public Intoxication”.

While investigating a disturbance at Jackson/Shaver Hall, officer determined that a male student, under the age of 21, was in possession of an alcoholic beverage.  Officer further determined that two other male students, also under the ages of 21, had been consuming alcoholic beverages.  The first student was cited for the offense of “Minor in Possession/Alcohol” and the two other students were cited for the offense of “Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor”.

While dining at an off campus eating establishment, officers observed two individuals who appeared to be intoxicated and who also smelled of burnt marijuana.  Upon investigation, officers determined that one of the individuals, an 18-year-old student, was in possession of marijuana and a set of brass knuckles.  This individual was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offenses of “Possession of Prohibited Weapon”, “Possession of Marijuana”, and “Public Intoxication”.  The other individual, a 19-year-old student, was transported to the Walker County Jail and was booked for the offense of “Public Intoxication”.

While patrolling through the Sam Houston Village Parking Garage, officer observed two suspicious males loitering in the area.  Upon investigation, officer determined the males had been smoking marijuana and drug related items were located and seized as evidence.  One of the male subjects, a 19-year-old Huntsville resident, was cited for the offense of “Possession of Drug Paraphernalia”.  Both subjects were subsequently issued criminal trespass warnings and were escorted off campus.

Officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Avenue I in reference to a report of a welfare concern.  Upon arrival and investigation, officers determined that a 19-year-old female student was highly intoxicated.  While officers were taking the student into custody she began to spit at them and her saliva struck one of the officers in the face.  The student was subsequently transported to the Walker County Jail and was booked for the offenses of “Public Intoxication” and “Assault on a Public Servant”.

While patrolling in the 1200 block of 17th Street, officer observed a male subject vomiting in the Jackson/Shaver Lot.  Upon investigation, officer determined this subject was highly intoxicated.  The subject, a 19-year-old student, was taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Public Intoxication”.

Officer was dispatched to Raven Village in reference to an alcohol violation.  Upon investigation, officer determined that two male students and two female students, all under the age of 21, were in possession of alcoholic beverages.  The four students were each cited for the offense of “Minor in Possession/Alcohol”.

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined that the male driver was under the influence of alcohol.  The driver, a 49-year-old resident of Poolville, Texas, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Driving While Intoxicated”.

Officer was dispatched to the Jackson/Shaver Lot in reference to an intoxicated male.  Upon arrival, officer determined that the male subject was highly intoxicated.  The subject, a 19-year-old student, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail and was booked for the offense of “Public Intoxication”.  During the book procedure, officer determined the student was in possession of a fictitious driver’s license; therefore, the student was booked for the additional charge of “Fictitious Driver’s License in Possession”.

Officer was dispatched to the Alpha Chi Omega House in reference to an intoxicated female.  Upon arrival, officer contacted the female and determined she was highly intoxicated.  The female, a 21-year-old student, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Public Intoxication”.

Officer was dispatched to Jackson/Shaver Lot #2 in reference to a reckless driver.  Upon investigation, officer contacted the suspect while he was walking through the parking lot and he was identified as a 21-year-old student.  Upon interview, officer determined this student was under the influence of alcohol and he was taken into custody.  The student was subsequently transported to the Walker County Jail and booked for the offense of “Public Intoxication”.

Officer was dispatched to the Jackson/Shaver Lot in reference to a report of criminal mischief.  Upon investigation, officer determined that an 18-year-old male student was responsible for removing four wheel covers from a parked vehicle.  This student was cited for the Class C Misdemeanor offense of “Criminal Mischief-Tampering With Property”.

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined that the female driver was under the influence of alcohol.  Subsequent to her arrest, officer also determined the driver was in possession of a controlled substance.  The driver, a 20-year-old student, was taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offenses of “Possession of a Controlled Substance” and “Driving While Intoxicated”.

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer learned that the male driver was operating the vehicle with an invalid driver’s license.  Furthermore, officer determined that the female passenger was intoxicated and she was also in possession of a controlled substance.  Both subjects were subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Walker County Jail.  During the booking procedure, the male driver, a 19-year-old Huntsville resident, was charged with the offense of “Driving While License Invalid”.  The female passenger, a 35-year-old Huntsville resident, was charged with the offenses of “Possession of a Controlled Substance” and “Public Intoxication”.

On September 27th, an arrest warrant was obtained and an 18-year-old student was arrested and charged with the offense of "Possession of Marijuana". This student was booked into the Walker County Jail.

A representative of the Sam Houston Memorial Museum reported that a chain saw was stolen from the complex.

Officer received a report that a vehicle had left the roadway and had driven through a wall at Holleman Field. Upon investigation, officer determined that a 24-year-old female from Pearland, Texas was the driver of the vehicle. Officer also determined that the female driver did not have a valid driver's license. The driver was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of "Driving While License Invalid".

While responding to a disorderly conduct complaint, officer observed a male subject obstructing traffic in the 1900 block of Sam Houston Avenue who matched the description of the suspect.  When the officer approached this subject, the subject’s demeanor became combative.  Several attempts were made to calm this subject, but all efforts failed.  The subject, a 24-year-old resident of Arlington, Texas, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Obstructing Highway/Passageway”.

Upon investigating a suspicious vehicle call in the 16BK parking lot, officer discovered the male driver and male passenger were in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  Both the driver, a 20-year-old Houston resident, and the passenger, a 22-year-old La Marque resident, were taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and were each booked for the offenses of “Possession of Drug Paraphernalia” and “Possession of Marijuana”.

While patrolling in the 1500 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer observed a female subject dancing in the middle of the street.  Upon investigation, officer determined the female subject was intoxicated.  The female, an 18-year-old student, was subsequently taken into custody, transported to the Walker County Jail, and was booked for the offense of “Public Intoxication”.

Officer was dispatched to the 1200 block of 17th Street in reference to an alcohol violation.  Upon investigation, two underage male students were cited for the offense of “Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor”.

While patrolling in the 2100 block of Avenue I, officer observed a group of students consuming alcoholic beverages.  Upon investigation, officer cited two underage female students for the offense of “Minor in Possession/Alcohol”, and he cited two underage male students for the offense of “Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor”.

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Avenue I, officer determined that the male driver was in possession of an alcoholic beverage.  The driver, an 18-year-old student, was cited for the offense of “Minor in Possession/Alcohol”.

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Avenue I, officer learned that the male driver was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.  Subsequent to his arrest, a usable quantity of marijuana was also located in the vehicle.  The driver, a 25-year-old Huntsville resident, was transported to the Walker County Jail where he was booked for the offenses of “Driving While License Suspended” and Possession of Marijuana”.
