Officer met with complainant in the 2100 block of Avenue I who reported that while operating a University vehicle he struck another vehicle.  A accident was completed (107686).

July 10, 2010

Officer was dispatched to Raven Nest golf course, located at 457 IH-45 South, where a complainant reported that his vehicle was burglarized.  The complainant stated that he was missing his passport, a driver's license and four credit cards.  There were no reported signs of forced entry (107608).

Officer was dispatched to Bowers Stadium to assist with a medical call.

July 8, 2010

Officer was dispatched to Raven Nest Golf Course, located at 457 IH-45 South, in reference to a report of two disorderly males.  Upon arrival, officer met with complainants who reported that the two males in question were responsible for damaging the greens with a golf cart and were intoxicated.  Upon meeting with the two, the officer identified them as University students ages 22 and 19. After an investigation, the two students were arrested and charged with multiple offenses that included Public Intoxication, Minor in Possession of Alcohol, and Providing Alcohol to a Minor.  Finally, both were issued criminal trespass warnings for the golf course (107538).

Officer was dispatched to White Hall in reference to a suspicious odor report.  Upon arrival, Residence Life staff reported finding contraband in the residence.  The contraband, marijunana leaves, was seized.  Due to the amount of contraband, a criminal offense report will not be completed; however, a incident report was completed and will be forwarded to the Dean of Students' Office for review (107521).

July 6, 2010

Officer responded to the Arbors Apartment Complex (500 block of Bowers Blvd.) in reference to a reported verbal argument.  Officer located the individuals (a female student, and a male resident of Huntsville) near their apartment complex.  During the investigation, the officer determined that they were involed in the reported verbal argument.  Since there were no idications of physical violence nor a threat, both were released.  A copy of the report will be forwarded to the Dean of Students' Office for review (107499).

Officer met with complainant near the Art Builidng who reported that his vehicle's window was shattered.  The cause was determined to be related to grounds maintenance activities (107487).

Officer met with a university staff member who reported that the Unviersity vehicle he was driving was damaged.  It was determined that another vehicle backed into it causing damage to the right rear area of the vehicle.  The owner of the other vehicle was identified and a accident report was completed (107475).

July 5, 2010

Officer met with female student who reported that she was assaulted by another female student in the Farrington Building.  The complainant did not wish to pursue a formal criminal complaint.  A report was taken and will be forwarded to the Dean of Students' Office for review (107446).

While conducting a traffic stop near the intersection of Bowers Boulevard and Avenue I, officer determined that the male driver (a Huntsville  resident) was wanted on outstanding warrants of arrest.  The driver was arrested and transported to the Walker County Jail (107459).

July 4, 2010

Officer was dispathced to the 2500 Sam Houston Avenue to assist with crowd control at the Jolly Fox. After a reported fight in the parking lot, officer identified a male resident of Bryan, Texas highly intoxicated.  The male was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication (107409).   A second officer was also dispatched to this locating in reference to a fight in progress report.  Upon arrival, officer broke up a fight and took one male university student into custody.  A second male fled from the officer after being directed to get on the ground.   The male was later identified and located.  A warrant for arrest is bing sought for Evading Arrest (107408).

While in the 1500 block of 11th Street, officer observed a male hanging out of his vehicle vomiting on the pavement.  Upon assessing his welfare, officer determiend that the male was highly intoxicated.  The male was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication (107406).

During a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined that the minor driver (a resident of Coldsprings, Texas) was determined to be in possession of alcohol.  The driver was issued a citation for the offense of Minor in Possession of Alcohol (107405).

July 3, 2010

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2500 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined that the driver (a Huntsville resident) was intoxicated.  The driver was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Under 15 Years of Age.  A guardian was contacted and the child was released to their custody.  The driver was transported to the Walker County Jail (107376).

July 2, 2010

While conducting a pedestrian stop in the 800 block of Thomason, officer found that a female resident of Huntsville was in possession of drug paraphernalia. The female was arrested and charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence after attempting to destroy the evidence (107371).

July 1, 2010

During a pedestrian stop in the 2000 block of Avenue I, officer determined that the male Huntsville resident was wanted on a outstanding felony warrant.  The male was arrested and transported to the Walker County Jail (107321).

June 30, 2010

Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of Bearkat Boulevard to investigate a crash involving a University vehicle (107283).

Officer was dispatched to the Newton Gresham Library in reference to an assault.  Upon arrival, the female student complainant reported that she was assaulted by another female in the computer lab.  The complainant stated that she did not wish to pursue a formal criminal complaint.  An incident report was completed and forwarded to the Dean of Students' Office for review (107281).   A second officer who arrived to assist arrested a male university student who was also highly intoxicated.  The male was arrested and also charged with Public Intoxication (107275).

Officer was dispatched to the 2500 block of Sam Houston Avenue in reference to an intoxicated persons report.  Upon arrival, officer located two males that were highly intoxicated and being combative towards another person.  A male resident of The Woodlands, Texas was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication (107276)

Officer spoke with Teacher Education Staff member who reported that a piece of furniture, described as a bench, was missing from the second floor. A Theft report was completed (107260).

June 25, 2010

Officer was dispatched to the south side of the Newton Gresham Library in reference to an assault.  The complainant reported that she was assaulted by an Asian female.  After the assault, the suspect fled the scene.  The female complainant provided a description of the suspect.  A supect was located and identified.  At this time the investigation continues (107092).

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined that the driver (a Huntsville resident) was wanted on a outstanding warrrant of arrest.  The driver was arrested and transported to the Walker County Jail (107118).

June 24, 2010

Officer met with female student who reported a suspicious incident that happened in the classroom.  A report was taken and turned over to the academic college for review since there was no criminal actions derived from the report (107059).

Officer met with female staff member who reported an incident invloving another co-worker.  The incident surrounded a verbal argument. Complainant did not wish to pursue a criminal complaint at this time (107057).

June 23, 2010

Officer responded to Pritchett Field to assist with a medical call (107030).

During a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Sycamore Avenue, officer determined that a male Huntsville resident (a passenger in the vehicle) was wanted on outstanding warrants of arrests. The passenger was arrested and transported to the Walker County Jail.  The driver was released (107006).

June 22, 2010

While conducting a traffic stop in the 800 block of Bowers Boulevard, officer determined that the driver (a male university student) was intoxicated. The driver was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol by a Minor.  In addition, a passenger in the vehicle ( also a male university student) was high on a controlled substance.  The passenger was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication (106976).

June 20, 2010

While checking on a vehicle in the Aberdeen Place Apartments, officer located a female in the vehicle who was passed out and unresponsive with a heavy odor of alcohol. Hunstville/Walker County Emergency Medical Services was contacted and arrived on scene.  The female was transported to Huntsville Memorial Hospital for further evaluation.

June 17, 2010

Officer was dispatched to Bearkat Village in reference to a domestic violence report.  Upon arrival, officer met with the victim who reported that her boyfriend who assaulted her. At this time she signed a request not to prosecute the suspect.  Upon meeting with the suspect, he stated that his girlfriend (victim) had keyed his vehicle during the incident.  The suspect asked to file formal charges in reference to criminal mischief.  The case has been forwaded to a department investigator (106814).

June 15, 2010

Officer was dispatched to the 1500 block of Marks Drive (a University parking area) in referece to a domestic disturbance between a husband and wife.  Both are non-students, but are attending a Texas Department of Criminal Justice training academy.  Upon investigation, the complainant reported that he was assaulted by his wife.  After the investigation, the complainant reported that he did not wish to file a formal complainant; however the incident was documented and both parties were released (106759).

June 12, 2010

Officer checked on the welfare of a vehicle in the 2300 block of Avenue M.  Upon further invesigation, it was determined that the female dirver was intoxicated.  The driver was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (106669).

June 11, 2010

A male was observed urinating on a vehicle in the 2200 block of Sam Houston Avenue.  Upon investigation, the officer determined that the male was intoxicated.  In addition, a female was found passed out in the passenger seat.  Upon speaking with her, she was also determined to be intoxicated.  Both the male and female were arrested and charged with Public Intoxication (106595).

June 10, 2010

While assisting the Huntsville Police Department with a call, officer stopped vehicle believed to be invloved in an epsiode in reference to a burglary of a building.  During the traffic stop, officer determined that the male resident of Huntsville, Texas was in possession of contraband.  The male was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana (106544).

June 9, 2010

A male and a female were arrested at Shenanigans for the offense of Assault Family Violence.  Officers observed the male and female (in a dating relationship) physically fighting with each other inside the establsihment. Both were transported to the Walker County Jail (106504).

Officer spoke with complainant who reported that during the Conroe High School graduation ceremony in the Johnson Coiseum, her wallett was stolen from her purse (106526).

While attempting to stop a vheicle in the 1500 block of 11th Street, the vehicle failed to stop for the officer and fled.  After providing a description of the suspect vehicle,, the vehicle was stopped by the Huntsville Police Department.    The driver was identified as a male from Groveton, Texas.  It was determined that the idividual was wanted on two outstanding warrants of arrest.  The male was arrested and charged for Evading Arrest and the outstanding warrants (106513).

Officer was dispatched to 604 Hutson Lane in reference to a Theft report. It should be noted that this is not University property; however, at the request of the Huntsviille Police Department due to a large call volume.  The officer investigated the recovery of a stolen vehicle from this location.  A copy of the report will be forwarded to the Huntsville Police Department for investigation (106541).

Officer met with complainant who reported that his department's credit card had fraudulent transactions on the account (106519).

June 8, 2010

Officer was dispatched to a University parking area in the 1500 block of Marks Drive in a reference to a "hit and run" accident.  According to witnesses, a vehicle was being towed out of the lot when it broke free of the tow truck, striking three cars.  The tow truck then fled the scene.  A suspect has been identified and an investigation will continue (106472).

Officer was dispatched to the intersection of 17th Street and Marks Drive in reference to a vehicle accident involving a univeristy vehicle.  The driver of the University vehicle stated that another vehicle struck them and fled the scene.  The driver and witness provided suspect information.  The officer located the vehicle and driver a short time later who confessed to the accident and leaving the scene.  The driver was cited for the offense of Failure to Stop and Give Information and for an Expired Inspection (106474).

Officer met with complainant who reported that a sign located near the Teacher Education Center was damaged by a Aramark golf cart (106425).

Officer was dispatched to the Raven Nest golf course, located at 457 Interstate 45 South, in reference to a criminal mischief report.  Upon arrival, the complainant reported that it appears a vehicle entered the playing course area and damage the greens (106374).

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Sam Houston Avenue, the officer determined that the female student driver was intoxicated.  The driver was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (106256).

Officer met with complainant who reported that their Univeristy credit card had fraudulent charges made to the account (106197).

May 29, 2010

Officer was dispatched to Herman Memorial Hospital in the Woodlands, Texas, in reference to a reported sexual assault.  Upon arrival, the officer met with minor female who reported that she was sexually assaulted by a known male aquaintance during a Conroe Independant School District High School Commencement Ceremony (Caney Creek High School) being held in the Johnson Coliseum. The assulat took place in between the Smith-Hutson Building and the Teacher Education Center.  The suspect has been identified and interviewed.  An investigation will be completed and then forwarded to the Walker County District Attorney's Office for review (106085).

While conducting a traffic stop in the 500 block of Bowers Boulevard, officer determined that the female student driver was intoxicated.  The driver was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (106067).

Officer was dispatched to the Lee Drain Building in reference to a Violation of Student Conduct report.  Upon arrival officer met with complainant who reported that a student had become irate.  Subsequently, the male, currently not enrolled, was issued a criminal trespass warning all SHSU property (106051).

May 27, 2010

During a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Sam Houston Avenue, a male was arrested for the offense of No Driver's License and No Insurance (106009).

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined that the driver, a male resident of Lovelady, Texas, was intoxicated. The driver was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (106021).

Officer spoke with complainant who reported that sometime on May 6, 2010 a computer was removed from an office located in the Kirkley Building (105923).

May 24, 2010

Officer was dispatched to H.E.B in reference to a Theft in progress call.   While proceeding to that location, officer noticed an individual matching the description in the 2200 block of Avenue I.  Upon approach, the male fled from the officer.  After a brief chase, the suspect was caught.  While taking the individual into custody, items from H.E.B were found on the person.  The male resident of Huntsville was arrested and charged with Evading Arrest and Theft (105852).

May 23, 2010

Officer met with complainant who reported that his cell phone was stolen out of his unlocked apartment located at 555 Bowers Boulevard sometime in April of 2010 (non-campus property) (105827).

Officer came into contact with a highly intoxicated male subject in the 100 block of Varsity Drive.  The male was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication (105818).

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined that the driver, a male university student, was in possession of contraband.  The driver was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana (105786).

A suspect was identifed in regards to light fixtures being damaged that illuminate SHSU sigange near the intersection of Sam Houston Avenue and Bowers Boulevard (105712).

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Avenue I, the officer deteremined that the driver ( a Huntsville resident)  was in possession of contraband.  The driver was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana (105740).

During a traffic stop stop in the 2400 block of Montgomery Road, a female driver was arrested and charged with Driving While License Suspended, No Insurance, Expired Motor Vehicle Registration, and Expired Motor Vehicle Inspection (105732).

May 18. 2010

Officer met with complainant who reported that a family member fraudently took eleven refund checks from her Bearkat One Card account. Complaints will be filed with the Walker County District Attorney's Office (105668).

Officer discovered five fire extinguishers that had been discharged in the Sam Houston Parking Garage located in the 1700 block of Avenue I (105613).

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determinded that the female driver was wanted on several outstanding warrants of arrest.  The driver was arrested and transported to the Walker County Jail (105577).

May 14, 2010

Officer responded to Johnson Coliseum where the complainant reported that a male juvenile was assaulted during an event. Officer conducted an investigation and statements were obtained.  Investigation to continue (105546).

While assisting the Huntsville Police Department at Shenanigans, located at 1548 11th Street, officer determined that a male non-student was highly intoxicated.  Officer also determined that the male failed to identify himself. The male was arrested for Public Intoxication of a Minor and Failure to Identify (105515).

May 13, 210

Officer met with complainant in the 1300 block of 17th Street (a University parking area) who reported that her vehicle was vandalized.  Damage to the vehicle was described as engraved lines or scratches to the cars exterior paint down boht sides of the vehicle (105474).

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1600 block of 10th Street, officer determined that the driver, a male university student, was intoxicated.  The driver was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol-Minor.  In addition, a passenger in the vehicle was charged with Minor is Consumption of Alcohol (105501).

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined that the male student driver was driving on a revoked driver's license.  The driver was arrested and charged with Driving While License Invalid and No Proof of Insurance (105418).

May 11, 2010

Office was dispatched to the 800 block of Bowers Boulevard in reference to a minor vehicle accident.  Upon arrival officer located a single vehicle resting againt a retaining wall and was not occupied.    Upon traveling up the street, the officer located the driver and passenger attempting to hide.  The officer identified both as male students and further noticed that they were highly intoxicated.  After completing the accident investigation, both males were arrested and charged with Public Intoxication (105322).

May 9, 2010

While conducting a traffic sto pin the 2300 block of Avenue M, officer determined that the driver (a female resident of Huntsville) was intoxicated.  The driver was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (105260).

While attempting to pull a vehicle over in the 2500 block of Sam Houston Avenue, vehicle fled from the officer.  The vehicle came to a stop in the Tanglewood Subdivision where a struggle ensued between the driver and officer.  The driver was subsequently arrested and charged with Evading Arrest, Interference with the Duties of a Public Servant, and Assault - Family Violence (105261).

Officer met with complainant who reported that his tailgate and an antenna were stolen from his vehicle while parked in the Health Center parking lot (105267).

May 6, 2010

Officer responded to 1821 Avenue I where a male student was arrested for an outstanding warrant of arrest (105138).

Officer was dispatched to Bearkat Village where the complainant reported leaving their cell phone unattended at the South Paw Dining Facility.  During the officer's investigation, it was determined that a female student found the cell phone and sold it for cash.  A complaint will be filed with the Walker County District Attorney's Office and the Dean of Students' Office will be notified (105153).

Officer met with complainant in the north sorority hill parking area where she reported that a male had urinated on the side of her vehicle.  Officer located suspect and identified him as a male student who was highly intoxicated.  The male was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication (105171).

Officer responded to the Aberdeen Place Apartments to assist the Huntsville Police Department with a fight in progress report.  While on scene a male student ran from the officer.  AFter a brief chase, the male was stopped and complied with the officer.   While speaking with the minor male, the officer determined that he was intoxicated.  The male was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication - Minor.

May 5, 2010

While on patrol in the area of Bearkat Village, officer heard yelling and loud talking.  Upon investigation, officer met with a male student who reported that he was assaulted by an unknow male.  Investigation to continue (105062).

Officer met with complainant who reported that their vehicle was damaged while parked in the 16th Street parking lot (105076).

Officer met with complainant who reported that his friends residence in King Hall was burglarized.  The complainant reported that his backpack was removed and it contained a laptop, gold plated necklace, and prescription medication (105086).

Officer was dispatched to the Estill Building in reference to a theft report.  Upon arrival, officer met with complainant who reported that a male was going through employees' desks located in there respective offices.  It was determined that items were missing.  During the investigation the male was identifed as a student. Investigation continues (105088)

Officer met with complainant at the HKC who reported that his wallet and cell phone were stolen while left unattended in a cubby hole near basketball court number one (105098).

Officer was dispatched to the 1200 block of 17th where the complainant reported that their vehicle was damaged while legally parked.  The officer noted that the front of the vehicle was heavily damaged (105114).

Officer responded to the Brook Place Apartments Complex where a male resident of Huntsville was arrested for trespassing on the complex property.  While at the jail, it was learned that the individual's identity was not true as provided by the suspect. Subsequently, the male was charged with Criminal Trespass and Failure to Identify.  The male is also facing charges from the Huntsville Police Department in reference to Burglary of a Motor Vehicle (105298 & 105303).

Officer met with complainant in the 1200 block of 17th who reported that his vehicle was damaged in an apparent attempted motor vehicle burglary (105014).

Officer met with complainant who reported that his cell phone was stolen from a unsecured cubby hole in the HKC near the basketball courts (104949).

Officer was flagged down in the 2500 block in reference to a question about a protective order.  The Huntsville Police Department was contacted to assist.  Subsequently, the Huntsville Police Department arrested a male resident of Huntsville for violating a protective order (104928).

April 30, 2010

Officer met with complainant who reported that her University issued laptop was stolen from her private residence in Trinity, Texas (104841).

While on patrol in the 1200 block of 17th Street, officer observed a male and female in a heated argument (both were later identified as students).  During the officer's investigation, it was determined that a physical altercation had taken place.  Subsequently, a male student was arrested and charged with Assault - Dating Violence and issued a criminal trespass warning for the females residence on campus (104845).

While conducting a traffic stop in the 600 blcok of 75 north, officer determined that the driver had no driver's license and no insurance.  As a result, the driver was arrested and charged with No Driver's License and No Proof of Insurance (104877). 

April 29, 2010

Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of 17th Street in reference to a male and female involved in a domestic dispute.  Once officer located the involved parties, it was determined that the dispute was only verbal in nature.  Information was obtained and will be forwarded to the Dean of Students' Office for review (104763).

April 28, 2010

Officer was dispatched to Jackson-Shaver Hall to check on the welfare of a student.  The stduent was referred to the counseling center (104738).

Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Marks Drive in reference to a fight in progress. Upon arrival, officer located a male and female (both non-students) who had been in a physical argument.  After investigation, a female and her three children were transported to another residence.  Additionally, the female signed a non-prosecution request.  The male was released and returned to his residence (104758).

April 27, 2010

Officer met with female student complianant who reported that she left her laptop unattended in the Smith-Hudson Building on the 3rd floor.  Upon returning to obtain it, the computer was missing (104697).

April 24, 2010

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1200 block of 19th Street, office determined that the driver (a Huntsville resident) was intoxicated.  The driver was arrested and charged with the following offenses:  Driving While Intoxicated; Driving While License Invalid; No Insurance; and Disregarding a Red Light (104571).

Officer met with female student complianant who reported that she was assaulted by her non-student boyfriend (suspect was no longer on scene).  After obtaining information from the victim, the suspect was contacted to set up an interview to provide additional information regarding the incident.  Investigation continues (104578).

April 23, 2010

Officer met with complainant who reported that a glass pane on the main doors leading into Belvin Cafeteria was damaged (104507).

Officer was dispatched to Sam Houston Village in reference to a burglarized vehicle.  Upon meeting with the complainant, the male student reported that three fishing poles were removed from the bed of his turck.  The complainant stated that they had found their fishing poles located in another vehicle.  Officer located the vehicle and determined that it was registered to another student residing in the same complex.  Upon investigation, officer located the suspect in their residence.  Additionally, it was determined at this time that the occupants of the residence were involved in an illicit activity.  Subsequently, the male students were arrested for multiple charges that included Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, Tampering with Evidence, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Also, one female student was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (104497).

Officer met with complainant who reported that her Blackberry was stolen while attending a fraternity party located at the Walker County Fairgrounds (104505).

April 22, 2010

Officer observed two individuals arguing near the intersection of Sam Houston Avenue and 16th Street.  Upon checking, officer determined that the male and female student were in a verbal argument in regards to thier releationship.  Officer advised both parties to seperate and return to their respective residences. A report was completed and will be forwarded to the Dean of Students' Office for review (104435).

Officer was dispatched to Bearkat Village to assit with a Medical Call (104441).

Officer met with complainant who reported that four fire extinguishers (located the Sam Houston Parking Garage) were discharged and one fire extinguisher was missing (104459).

April 21, 2010

Officer was dispatched to the 2500 block of Sam Houston Avenue in reference to a possible disturbance. Upon arrival, spoke with witnesses who pointed out an individual was was causing problems in a public parking area.  Officer then identified a Huntsville resident who was highly intoxicated. Subsequently, the male was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication (104387).

Officer met with complainant who reported that she was struck by a vehicle in a University parking lot (Coliseum parking area).  After the male exited the vehicle to assess her welfare, the suspect drove off as she walked towards the operator of the vehicle to obtain information (104407).  

Officers responded to Jackson-Shaver Hall in referece to disturbance.  Upon arrival, officers learned that a female had gained access to a residence and assaulted one of the occupants.  The suspect was no longer on scene, but was idenitified.  A warrant for the suspect's arrest is being sought for the offense of Assault Causing Bodily Injury (104403). Officers were summoned back to the location where it was reported that the suspect was attempting to gain access to the residence hall.  Officers located the female suspect and further determined that she had a outstanding warrant of arrest for assault.  The suspect was arrested, transported to the Walker County Jail, and charged with with outstanding warrant of arrest.  Additionally, the suspect was issued a criminal trespass warning for all SHSU property (0911314).

Officer met with complainant who reported that approximately $100.00 dollars in cash and checks were stolen from her office.  The money was not in a secure location (104412). On April 22, 2010, the complainant reported finding the missing monies in her desk.

Officer was dispatched to White Hall parking lot where the complainant reported that their vehicle was damaged while legally parked.  Damage to the vehicle consisted of a dent to the right front quarter panel (104372).

While conducting a traffic stop in the 800 block of Bowers Boulevard, officer determined that hte driver (a female university student) had consumed alcohol.  The driver was cited for the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol - MInor and released to her mother.  In addition, the passenger (a female university student minor) was determined to have been drinking alcohol.  The passenger was cited for Minor Consuming Alcohol and was also released to the same adult (104335).

A female University student reported that her vehicle was stolen from the Estill rear parking area.  The complainant reported loosing her keys in the same parking lot.  The vehicle was entered into a law enforcment stolne files database.  On April 22, 2010, the Richmond Police Department in Richmond, Texas (104358).

The SHSU Grounds department turned in a wallet they discoverd in a trash can near the HKC. The owner was contacted and reported that his BearkatOne card was missing from the wallet.  The victim stated that his wallet was left unattended in a cubby hole located in the HKC (104301).

Officer was dispatched to Bearkat Village in reference to a domestic dispute.  Upon arrival, officer located a male student and female student in a verbal argument.  Officers determined that no physical violence had taken place.  Both were released and a report was completed that will be sent to the Dean of Students' Office for review (104310).

Officer was dispatched to Belvin Hall in reference to two intoxicated females.  Upon arrival, officer located two minor female university students who were highly intoxicated.  The two females were arrested and charged with Public Intoxication (104254).

April 16, 2010

While in the 1300 block of Avenue Q, officer was heard an individual yelling what he thought was "I need help".  Upon checking the non-students welfare, officer determined that he was yelling an explicative.  Further investigation determined that the individual was highly intoxicated. The male was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication (104193).

Officer was dispatched to the Bearkat Village parking lot where the complainant reported that their vehicle had been burglarized. The window was shattered; however, the owner determined that nothing was missing from the vehicle.  A second vehicle was located by the officer with similar damage.  The victim of this vehicle reported that an in-dash cd/dvd player was missing (104195).

Officer was dispatched to the White Hall parking lot where the complainant reported that his vehicle was burglarized.  The victim stated that an unknown individual had shattered the driver's side window and attempted to steal his in-dash radio (104197).

Officer was dispatched to Estill Hall in reference to a domestic disturbance.  Upon investigation, the student female victim refused to cooperate with the officer.  Information was obtained from witnesses and will be forwarded to the Dean of Students' Office for review (104217).

Officer served a "Letter of Suspension" to a male student who was involved in a domestic disturbance investigated by the Huntsville Police Department.  In addition, the male was also issued a criminal trespass warning for all SHSU property (104224).

April 15, 2010

Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Avenue I in reference to a fight in progress.  Upon arrival and after investigation, two male students were arrested for fighting in pulbic.  A third male student was also arrested for public intoxication (104111).

Officer was dispatched to Creager House where a University staff member reported that a vending machine had been burglarizied (104126).

Officer met with complainant who reported that her cell phone was stolen from her dorm room in Sam Houston Village.  The complainant reported three possible suspects, all non-students, who were identified by the officer and interviewed.  At this time the phone was not located.  Investigation to continue (104148).

Officer was dispatched to Raven Village in reference to an alcohol violation.  Upon investigation, officer determined that a 19 year-old male student was in possession of alcohol. The student was cited for the offense of Minor in Possession of Alcohol and releaesed (104169).

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined that the Huntsville resident driver was operating a motor vehicle without a driver's license.  The driver was arrested and charged with Driving While License Suspended and No Insurance (104110).

Officer was dispatched to the 3000 block of Highway 30 east in reference to an intoxicated driver.   Upon arrival, it was determined that a Huntsville resident was intoxicated. The driver was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (104066).

A female Huntsville resident was arrested at the University Police Department due to two outstanding warrants of arrest.  The female was transported to the Walker County Jail and remanded to their custody (104070).

While conducting a traffic stop near the intersection of Sam Houston Avenue and 11th Street, officer determined that the driver, a resident of Huntsville, did not have a valid driver's license.  The male was arrested for the offenses of No Driver's License and Disregarding a Traffic Control Device (103945).

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1200 block of 11th Street, officer determined that the male student driver was intoxicated. The driver was arrested and transported to the hospital for a blood draw.  While at the hospital, the driver complained of multiple symptoms.  The driver was released to the care of the hospital.  A warrant of arrest will be for the driver for the offense of Driving While Intoxicated (103832).

Officer met with complainant who reported that thier vehicle was damaged while parked in the 2000 block of Avenue I, in a University parking lot.  Damage to the vehilce consisted several long scratches and dents along the driver's side rear door and fender (103847).

During a traffic stop, a male university student was arrested on an outstanding warrant of arrest (103809).

Officer was dispatched to the Rave Village parking lot where the officer determined a vehile rolled out of its parked space and struck two other vehicles.  The vehicle rolled out due to not being placed in a parked gear (103820).

Officer was dispatched to Sam Houston Village in reference to a suspicious odor.  Upon investigation, officer determined that several students were in violation of University Policy in regards to smoking tabacco products in the residence. Residence Life was apprised of the incident.  Resident Life staff conducted a search after the incident and located contraband.  All contraband was turned over to the officer.  A copy of the report will be forwarded to the Dean of Students' Office for review and the Walker County District Attorney's Office (103519).

Officer was dispatched to the HEB parking lot to assist the Huntsville Police Department.  Upon arrival, officer identified a male resident of Huntsville, Texas who was wanted on an outstanding warrant of arrest.  The male was arrested and transported to the Walker County Jail (103199).

Officer was dispatched to the 2200 block of 22nd Street in reference to a burglary in process.  Upon arrival, officer identified a male who was attempting to remove scrap material from a university construction site.  The subject was issued a criminal trespass warning for all SHSU property and escorted off location (103218).

A male student was arrested at Estill Hall after being found in violation of a criminal trespass warning.  The warning was issued to him as a result of a reported domestic dispute between the male student and his girlfriend who resides at the residential hall (102806).

A student reported that they observed another student steal a cup of coffee from the Java City Coffee stand located in the library.  The suspect was identified and information has been submitted to the Dean of Students' Office for review (102559).

Officers were dispatched to the Lee Drain Building in reference to a black male exposing himself to staff cleaning the building.  Upon arrival, officers met with the complainants and obtained a description. Officer were able to locate a black male matching the description provided by staff; however, the staff members could not positively identify the individual as the actor.  Investigation to continue (102462).

Officer was dispatched to King Hall in reference to a suspicous odor report.  Upon investigation, the officer determined that a male student was in possession of contraband. The stduent was arrested and charged with the following offenses:  Possession of a Dangerous Drug; Possession of Marijuana; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (102696).

Officer responded to 555 Bowers Boulevard to assist with a verbal disturbance.  A male student who resides at the residence was asked to leave for the reamainder of the night (102713).

March 7, 2010

Officer met with complainant who reported that on March 4th, her BearkatOne Card and U.S. Currency were removed from her wallet at the LSC.  Teh wallet was left unsecured and unattended during an event being held in the ballroom area (102598).

Whiel on patrol in the area of 5050 Sam Houston Avenue, officer observed several individuals acting in a suspicious manner.  Upon investigation, officer determined that a male student was extrememly intoxicated.  After being cleared by Walker County Emergency Medical Services, the male was arrested and transported to the jail.  At the jail, staff refused to take custody.  The individual was then transported to a sober adult to take custody and care.  Subsequently, the student was issued a citation for the offense of Public Intoxication (102577).

March 6, 2010

Officers responded to the Raven Village parking lot in reference to a fight in progress report.  Upon arrival, two males were seperated.  Upon investigation, it was determined that a male student and a male non-student were involved in a physical altercation.  At this time the male non-student was arrested for Assault - Family Violence due to a reported dating relationship.  The male student was released at the scene (102528).

Officer met with a female student in reference an incident that occured at Sam Houston Village.   The female student reported that a large group of people were causing disturbance at the complex which led her to fear for her safety.  Upon investigation, it was determined that the incident stemmed from an altercation between a female student who was assaulted by a male non-student.  Other students showed up at Sam Houston Village to fight the male non-student for assaulting the female; however, it was reported that no altercation took place.  The female victim was identifeid and an investigation was completed.  It should be noted that the victim in this incident does not wish to pursue a criminal comlaint (102529).

Officer met with complainant who reported that his wallet was stolen from the HKC while left unsecured and unattended (102531)

March 5, 2010

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1200 block of 17th Street, officer determined that the driver, a male university student, was intoxicated.  The driver was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (102474).

Officer responded to a report of assault between a female and male student.  Upon investigation, it was determined that they were in a dating relationship and that there had been physical violence.  In addition, the male suspect damaged the complainant's vehicle.  At this time both refused to press charges for the offense of assualt.  A report was taken and will forwarded to the Dean of Students' Office for reveiw (102475).

Officers repsonded to a report of a female student being held against her will.  Upon locating the vehicle and complainant at the Santa Fe Apartment Complex, the complainant stated that she and her girlfriend were in a verbal argument, and she was not being held against her will.  No charges were filed, a report was taken, and will be forwarded to the Dean of Students' Office for review (102485).

Officer met with female student complainant who reported unusal behavior in the classroom by another student.  No criminal offense was noted; however, a copy of the report will be forwarded to the Dean of Students' office for review (102450).

A University staff member reported that at approximately 8:20 PM a black male ( a light skinned black male, six feet tall, weighing 150 pounds, wearing navy colored sweat pants, and a sleeveless shirt) exposed his genitals towards her.  A search of the area was conducted; however, no one mathcing the description was located.  Investigation to continue (102462).

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Sam Houston, officer determined that the driver, a male university stduent under the age of 21, was intoxicated.  Subsequently, the driver was arrested and charged with the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol - Minor.  A passenger in the vehicle, also intoxicated, was released to a sober individual (102353).

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Lake Road, officer determined that the driver, a Huntsville resident, was intoxicated.  The driver was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, second offense (102129).

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Josey Street, officer determined that the minor driver, a university student, was intoxicated.  The driver was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol - Minor (102140).

After an investigation, charges are being sought against a female student for the theft of a cell phone out of the Teacher Education Buiding (102152).

Officer met with complainant who reported that their vehicle was burglarized while parked in a University owned parking lot in the 1200 block of 17th Street.  Complainant stated that a GPS system and a Ipod were missing from the vehicle.  There were no signs of forced entry into the vehicle (102158).

While investigating a suspicious person in the 2000 block of Avenue J (walking through a University owned parking lot), it was determined that the individual was not a student and had an extensive criminal history.  Due to the recent rash of car burglaries, the individual was issued a criminal trespass warning for SHSU property (102164).

Officer met with three students who reported that their vehicles were burglarized.  One of the vehicles was parked behind Estill Hall, the second vehicle was parked near Elliot Hall, and the third vehicle was parked in the Raven Village parking lot.  All reported missing stereo equipment (101803).

Officer recognized a male non-student walking in the 1700 block of Avenue that was previously issued a criminal trespass warning after a verbal argument with his girlfirend in a campus residence.  The male was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass (101731).

Officer was dispatched to Crawford House in reference to a supcious odor report. Upon investigation the officer determined that three male students were in possession of a controlled substance.  Subsequently, all three males were arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana (101599).

Officer met with female complainant who reported that she was assaulted by the Dan Rather Communications Building by another female student. Information was obtained from the complainant and has been forwarded to the department's investigator (101619).

Officer met with male complainant who reported that his shoulder bag was stolen from the Criminal Justice Building. The complainant stated that a silver Mac Pro laptop and a red Apple IPOD were in the bag amongst other items (101624).

Officer spoke with complainant who reported missing money from her residence.  Complainant did not wish to file an offense report, but did want her money.  Officer contacted all involved parties and attempted to recover the missing property (101630).

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Montgomery Road, officer determined that the driver, a Tyler, Texas resident, was wanted on an outstanding warrant of arrest.  The driver was arrested and transported to the Walker County Jail (101637).

While in the 2000 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer observed a male having difficulty walking.  Upon checking his (a Dodge, Texas resident) welfare, the officer determined that the male was highly intoxicated.  The male was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication (101551).

A student was arrested in the Farrington Building for an outstanding warrant of arrest.  During the arrest, the student provided a false name and date of birth.  Subsequently, the student was arrested and transported to the Walker County Jail where he was booked on the warrant and a secodary charge was added for Failure to Identify (101567).

While investigating three suspicious males on University property in the 1300 block of 17th Street, officer determined that the individuals, all non-students, had been smoking marijuana. All three were issued criminal trespass warnings for all SHSU property (101595).

Officer responded to Bearkat Village to assist Residence Life staff.  Staff reported finding drug contraband in a room during a safety check.  An incident report was taken and will be referred to the Dean of Students' Office for review (101540).

Officer was dispatched to Bearkat Village in referecne to domestic dispute.  Upon investigation, it was determined that a non-student male was in a verbal argument with the resident.  The male was issued a criminal trespass warning for all SHSU property and escorted from the residence (101426).

Officer was dispatched to the HKC in reference to a fight in progress report.  Upon investigation, three female students reported that a male non-student had assaulted them.  Officer then met with the suspect who reported that the three females attacked him and he fought back in defense. Information obtained in this case will be presented to the Walker County District Attorney's Office for review and charging (101441).

Officer responded to Elliott Hall where Residence Life staff reported the finding of contraband.  A reort was taking and a copy will be forwarded to the Dean of Stduent's Office for review (101387).

Officer met with complainant who reported that his vehicle was damaged while parked in the 1600 block of Avenue M.  Complainant reported that his passenger side front window was shattered.  Nothing was missing from the vehicle (101371).

February 7, 2010

Officer responded to the Sam Houston Village parking garage area in reference to a reported disturbance.  Upon investigation, officer determined that a male non-university student was highly intoxicated.  The male was arrested and charged with the offense of Public Intoxication.  Officers responded to a second location in the complex and discovered a femlae minor student in possession of alochol and contraband.  The female was cited for the offenses of Minor in Possession of Alcohol and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (101336).

February 6, 2010

Officer resopnded to Humphrey's Bar and Grill to assist another officer.  Officer identified a female student who was in possession of an alcoholic beverage.  It should be noted that the female provided false identification and was determined to be under the age of 21.  The female was arrested and charged with the offenses of Failure to Identify and MInor in Possession of Alcohol (101308).

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Marks Drive, officer determined that the student minor female driver was intoxicated.  The driver was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol - Minor.  In addition, emergency medical personnel were summoned to the scene to treat a passenger for excessive alcohol consumption.  An additional six minor female students were in the vehicle and intoxicated.  They were released to a sober individuals (101315).

Officer met with complainant who reported that their vehicle was damaged while parked in the Sam Houston Village parking garage (101251).

Officer met with complainant who reported that their vehicle was damaged while parked in the Walker Education Center parking area (101253).

A male non-university student was issued a criminal trespass warning for the SHSU Museum Grounds after being found in the area after hours of operation (101279).

Officer was dispatched to Baldwin House in reference to a suspicious odor.  Upon investigation, it was determined that two male students were in possession of contraband. Subsquently, the two males were cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and released (101263).

Officer met with complainant who reported that their vehicle was damaged while parked in the 2000 block of Avenue J, located in a university parking area.  Damage appears to be the result of a hit and run accident (101173).

Officers responded to Baldwin House in reference to a suspicious odor report.  Upon investigation, a female student was determined to be in possession of an illegal substance.  Other items of contraband were also found during the investigation.  Subsequently, a female student was arrested and charged with the offense of Possession of Marijuana, a second female was arrested and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and a third male student was arrested and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (101186).

February 2, 2010

Officer made contact with victim in the state of Montana who reported that her credit card was used fraudulently as SHSU.  Victim has no affiliatiation with SHSU.  Investigation to continue (101122).

Officer responded to the intersection of 13th Street and University Avenue to assist the Huntsville Police Department.  While providing assistance, officer located marijuana on a female suspect.  The female suspect was identified as a University student (101135).

Officer responded to Bearkat Village in reference to a suspicious odor.  During the officer's investigation, it was determined that a male minor student was in possession of alcohol.  The student was issued a citation for the offense of Minor is Possession of Alcohol and released (101140).

A male non-university student was arrested for the offense of Theft after an officer determined that the male was in possession of stolen property belonging to another student (101250).

Officer met with complainant who reported that they lost a ring in the Sam South Complex parking lot (101145).

February 1, 2010

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Marks Driver, officer determined that the driver, a male non-student, was driving on a suspended license.  The driver was arrested and charged with Driving While License Invalid, Expired Registration, and No Insurance (101056).

While conducting a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined that the driver, a male resident of Huntsville, was wanted on an outstanding warrant of arrest.  The driver was arrested and transported to the Walker County Jail (101076).

Officer met with complainant who reported that their vehicle was burglarized in the Estill Hall parking lot.  The victim reported that stereo equipment was stolen out of the vehicle (101077).

While checking on a suspicious vehicle in the Estill parking lot, located at 1003 Bearkat Boulevard, officer identified a femlae student.  During his investigation he determined that the female was in possession of drug paraphernalia.  The female was issued a cition for this offense and released. Furthermore, the student will be referred to the Dean of Students' Office for review (10864).

Officer met with complainant who reported that their vehicle was burglarized while parked in the Estill Hall parking lot, located at 1002 Bearkat Boulevard (10849).  The complainant reported that a GPS system was missing.

January 25, 2010

Upon responding to a fire alarm at Raven Village, officer discovered a male student resident was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  The male student was arrested and charged with the following offenses:  Possession of Marijuana; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (10806).

While investigating a suspicious person report, officer identified a male on video footage who had been previously issued a criminal trespass warning for all SHSU property.  A warrant of arrest is being sought for the offense of Crminal Trespass (10807).

Officer met with complainant at Sam Houston Village who reported that their residence had been burglarized.  The complainant reported that an Apple IPOD and a credit card were missing (10774).

While on patrol, officer observed a female lying in the roadway in the 1700 block of 17th Street.  Upon checking the welfare, the officer determined that the female university student was highly intoxicated.  While speaking with the female, a male univeristy student approached the officer who was also highly intoxicated.  Subsequently, both were arrested and charged with Pubic Intoxication (10730).

January 22, 2010

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1100 block of University Avenue, officer determined that the female driver did not have a driver's license or insurance for the vehile.  The female driver was arrested and charged with No Driver's License and No Proof of Insurance (10724).

Officer responded to 600 block of Bowers Boulevard in reference to a welfare check.  Officer identifed a female student who was referred to the Dean of Students' Office (10722).

January 21, 2010

While conducting a traffic stop in the 1400 of Sam Houston Avenue, officer determined that the male driver, a Huntsville resident, was intoxicated. The driver was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.  A male passenger was also arrested and charged with Public Intoxication (10629).

Officer met with complainant who reported that their vehicle was damaged while parked in the Sam Houston Parking Garage (10643).

Officer was flagged down in reference to a suspicious vehicle in the 2500 block of Pine Shadows Drive.  Upon investigation officer located a highly intoxicated male student in the vehicle passed out.  The male was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication (10576).

Officer spoke with complainant by telephone who reported that their vehicle was burglarized while parked in the Jackson-Shaver parking lot.  Complainant reported a GPS system was missing (10591).

While assisting the Huntsville Police Department at the Aberdeen Apartment Complex, officer identified a male university student who was wanted on an outstanding warrant of arrest.  The student was arrested and taken to the Walker County Jail (10617).

Officer was dispatched to the 1300 block of 17th Street in reference to suspicious activity. During the officer's investigation a male university student was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics and other items.  Subsequently, the male was arrested and charged with the following offenses:  Possession of Marijuana; Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon; Possession of a Controlled Substance; and Tampering with Evidence (10521).

Officer met with complainant who reported that his vehicle was burglarized while parked at the Raven Nest Golf Course. The complainant reported that aA cell phone and a wallet were taking from the vehicle (10503).

While providing police services at an event being held in the LSC, officer identified a male resident of Huntsville who was extrememly intoxicated.  The male was arrested and charged with Pulbic Intoxication and issued a criminal trespass warning for SHSU Property.  A second male that was with the arrestee was also issued a criminal trespass warning (10425).

Officer met with complainant who reported that his musical intrument was stolen from the Music Building.  It should be noted that the complainant reported that the instrument was not secured and was left outside of a room for an extended period of time (10402).
