SPRING 2012 PARKING PERMITS: Parking permits are required to park on the Huntsville Campus at this time. Obtain your permit at the Parking and Transportation Office. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR SAM ID OR DRIVERS LICENSE, AND YOUR VEHICLE'S YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, COLOR, AND LICENSE PLATE NUMBER AVAILABLE TO PICK UP YOUR PERMIT. Note our office hours below.
Resident Lot P58, below Lone Star Hall on Avenue J at 15th Street, is now open for Resident (blue) permit parking. This new lot has 44 resident and six disabled spaces.
SAM HOUSTON PARKING GARAGE REMINDER: ONLY Contract holders utilize the swipe readers on the left side of the entrance and exit kiosks, magnetic stripe facing to the left. Hourly parking customers MUST push a button to receive an entry ticket to raise the gate and enter the garage, and pay at exit with a MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express credit card. No cash is accepted. DO NOT insert a credit card into the entrance kiosk. HOURLY CUSTOMERS MUST KEEP THEIR ENTRY TICKET - YOU WILL NEED IT TO COMPUTE YOUR PARKING FEE AT THE EXIT KIOSKS. LOST TICKETS WILL RESULT IN A $10 LOST TICKET FEE. Detailed instructions are posted on the entrance and exit kiosks.
