Purpose. To advise the Vice President for Student Services on policy and procedure regarding, but not limited to, textbook pricing, availability, and adoption, and to serve as a conduit for the exchange of information and ideas between the university community, bookstore management, and university administration.
Appointments. The committee will consiste of at least nine individuals, including designated ex-officio and resource members. The following members serve indefinite terms and are determined by nomination from Student Government Association, Staff Council or Faculty Senate, respectively. In addition, individual student nominations are made by the Department of Student Activities and individual staff nominations are based on experience with the textbook adoption process.
