SHSU Technology Tutorials | Windows 7 - Connecting to a Departmental Website
If you are in charge of editing a department website, here is how you go about editing that website.
First, open Contribute and type your departments website address in the address bar. For this example, we are using the IT@Sam website.
Click Create Connection
This will open up the Connection Wizard
On the pull down menu, select Website
Type in the URL for your deparmtent's website
To connect to the server, select Local/Network from the pull down menu
For the network path, type \\18.104.22.168\xxxxx\public_html
- Replace the xxxxx with the proper departmental extension found in the main URL
You have now connected to your department's website!!!!
