Why Use an Online Reader
The most obvious benefit of an online reader is that no matter whose computer you're using, you can access your feeds from the same interface, with the same items read, unread, starred, and tagged, as long as you've got a browser handy.
The most accessible online reader is Google Reader. Here are instructions on how to subscribe to a feed using Google Reader.
First, look for the RSS logo on any webpage. If you see this logo, click on it and you will be taken to a page to choose your subscription method
On the pull down menu, select Google. You will need to have a Google account in order to subscribe to the feed. If you are directed to a login page, login with your Google credentials.
Once that is complete, you should see your reader with updates from the channel you subscribed to. In this case, we subscribed to Golf.
